Since it's trying to replicate Israeli falafel I'll be judging purely based on that.
Falafel itself was barely warm(should be hot), pita was fridge cold (should be freshly baked) & cut open almost all around, so everything was falling out of it. Schug not spicy at all, to the point where my wife who can't eat any spicy foods - was drinking it.
& there was of course no free tehini no add as you go about eating as you have in Israel.
Overall probably on a level of low level falafel in israel.
LeFalafel Plus+ does better homage to proper Israeli falafel.View more
Merci 🙏View more
Yummy falafel pita bread sandwich. Very good quantity for the price. Loved & enjoyed every bite of it. Falafels were very perfectly cooked & it was a well balanced sandwich. Great place for vegans to try. Service was real quick & the ambience was good too. Would love to go back to have'em again.View more
Sabich = eggplant pita
(I asked what it was & server said it's the same as falafel but with eggplant & since it cost more I thought it would come with the falafel too but it seemed to be just eggplant. Kind of a lazy explanation imo)
I had the mild spice falafel pita & it was delicious & really big. The server this time was really friendly & sweet & it was ready super fastView more
View more
Oh em GEE! Got the falafel pita & the zaatar fries with spicy mayo (do not miss out on the fries & mayo! so good!) So delicious, Best service ever, nicest employees with great music taste! They were so polite & nice, I asked their names so shout out Jacquelyn, William & Emily, you made our dining experience even better! recommended that spot to all my friends & family!View more
We ordered the sabich & falafel pitas. It was delicious & the closest we could find in Canada to a real sabich!
The only reason why I give 4 stars & not 5 is that the pita was cold, & the eggplant & egg were cold too.
It should be served warm :(View more
Very good, although I'd like to have consistently big pitas. Hopefully that's not correlated with tip! Also, this time I tipped $1 (take away, no service) I didn't get napkins in the bag somehow?View more
Merci ❤️View more
Got the half falafel pita & it was a good portion. Also got some extras with my delivery, definitely appreciated.View more
Absolutely delicious sandwiches! Generous amount of toppings in the pita, & the falafel was fantastic. Their spicy sauce is amazing & adds a great kick.View more
THE place to go for a quick & tasty Falafel sandwich. I've been a fan for years of their original Wellington Str. (Verdun) outlet, but their St. Viateur branch (this photo) is great to visit too. One negative point : the last time I stopped by at St. Viateur, my pita bread was "stone cold", which made my sandwich much less appealing. A special oven to keep their bread warm was going to be purchased, they told me. Let's keep an eye on that promise!View more
Staff were friendly, quick, & accommodating. The food belonged in the trash though. Pita was cold & soggy Falafel was lukewarm Humus was just toss in a lump at the bottom There was an overwhelming pickle flavour that dominated the dish Fries were soggy & lukewarm Sure the portions were big, but more trash is still trash. Adjust your ingredients Do a quick fry of the pita before sending it out & flash fry your fries before you do the final fry If you are thinking about going here to eat, don't. Not worth the $20 I spentView more
Tried the Salad & the Pita. Very flavourful & filling.View more
Edited 4 month later: Thank you for selling these delicious sauces that we can enjoy eating at home.BUT PLEASE, clean your restaurant including 🚻. Loved falafel pita. Tasted as good as in Israel 💝 It would be nice to have a little decor & clean up. Atmosphere is a bit depressing, doesn't give you a desire to dine-in. But I do recommend this place & I will be back.View more
The falafel plate was okay, the wood fire flavor of the pitas was good. The plate could have more vegetables instead of a pickle.View more
Falafels can be the worst food on the planet. Most chains & many places fry the falafel, let it sit until someone comes in to buy it. & it's a mess. Falafel Yoni is a totally different deal. First, falafels can come in sizes from kinger marbles, then to golf balls, & I've had some almost the size of hardballs. Then when you crack open the falafel, it should be green in colour. The outside should be crisp, the interior soft & pillowy. There should be a sesame forward dip to put it into, if it's not already in a pita sandwich. But the real way to know is just to eat it on its own. & these are delicious on their own. No dip. No pita. Nothing else. Just the falafel. Which is the litmus test. These are perfectly sized, crisp on the outside, & soft on the inside. The flavour is outstanding. You could just buy a bag & fight over it -- which is precisely what we did. If you don't like falafels, because all you've eaten are the marginal ones sitting in an aluminium pan that get microwaved when you order them for a sandwich, this is the cure. Also, they make a drink called Limonana -- which is made in house. It's a lemonade with mint. You can fight over that too. Or you can just go on your own or buy two orders of each.View more
View more
The workers were friendly & helpful & the menu has a vegan option, which was good for lactose intolerant people like me. Their selection of sodas is quite unique. While the food was decent, I would have appreciated more spice, a slightly warm pita bread & to be able to eat the sandwich without it breaking apart.View more
Visited this place for the first time today & did not regret my choice, Such a delicious Falafel Pita! Very tasty & very very generous, even though i took the half ("demi") version of it. I was a bit lost at first as the displayed menu is not so detailed, but the staff was very nice & patient & they presented me the menu while showing me each item in order to make my choice easier. I really wanted to tried the Sabich sandwich (aubergine, egg & mango) but it only came as a full size & I was not hungry enough this time.. I ate on site & one staff member brought me a small sample of their Mango sauce (which i really wanted to try) for me to try. What a lovely attention, I can't wait for my next visit :))View more
So good! The falafel Pita was fresh, fast, affordable, super crunchy & had spice to it. They pack on the hummus which I like as well. Nice healthy spot. Wish I had tried the zaatar fries.View more

Quality falafels ✨ with cute packaging. I've tried both the pita version & the wrap & their both great. It always seems to be busy here & all my friends like it as well. (Falafels are vegan). 🌱View more
Latente recomendado.View more
