What luck! Accidentally found myself in a state of massive hunger in Lachine & wound up in the greatest plant based restaurant I've ever stumbled upon. The Shawarma & Mongolian grooves are insane, the eggplant is the best I've had in Canada outside of Armenian Resto in Toronto. Weekly trip to this totally tubular top spot

I have been going to the Falafel St Jacques in Ville St Pierre for years & have always enjoyed it immensely. This is the first time that I've visited the Falafel St Jacques in Lachine & I liked it even more because of the atmosphere & comfortable seating. I came with two friends at about 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon & we had the place to ourselves. Of the Middle Eastern restaurants that serve similar fare, Boustan, Emir & Basha, the food here is, in my opinion, far superior.

The Notre Dame lachine up & coming trendy street is larger than the original spot. Tables & chairs inside & outside makes it a pleasant experience with Falafel St Jacques great middle eastern food. Place is exceptionally clean , your food prepared on the spot , many varieties of dishes to choose from & all vegetarian & reasonably priced . Pita & all baked goods & salads are made fresh daily on site , every salad is available individually for take out , as are baked goods & the vegetarian shawarma, etc.

Très déçue du service qu'en anglais seulement. Je suis bilingue mais francophone & nous sommes au Québec. L'homme au comptoir ne se force même pas pour me répondre en français à une question simple. Manque de respect pour la clientèle. Quand tu as un commerce, c'est la moindre des choses d'être bilingue, surtout à Lachine où la majorité parle français. Je n'y retournerai pas. Dommage car leur nourriture est bonne.
