We stumbled across Falafel St. Jacques looking for spots on our way back to Old Montreal from the airport. It was our favorite meal so far in 3 days of this trip! Easily one of the best meals I've had recently in general.
My family eats a lot of falafel & shawarma in California, & this was one of the best I've had. For 12$ USD, we each got a pita sandwich & choice of two sides & a drink! I had the Jerusalem trio pita with tabbouleh & mushrooms - so flavorful. My dad got the same with baba ghanoush & eggplant, which were divine. Probably could have taken home leftovers, but it was all too good not to finish right away.
The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. We could have stayed & talked with them for hours. We even got recommendations for our next stop in Quebec City. The team said they cook for other like they cook at their homes, & you can taste the love.
Everything was so fresh & flavorful. I WISH we had a Falafel St. Jacques in our hometown - I'd go every day!View more
Awesome middle eastern falafel joint. Definitely a local joint half way btwn montreal & YUL airport. Generous portions, well constructed pita sandwiches. Great fries. Trio gets you choice of pita sandwich two salads, or delicious double fried fries, & a soft drink. Fantastic value. Amd very friendly owner & staff. Unbelievable find!!!View more

Stopped by here for the first time today after wanting to try it for quite some time - & it will certainly not be my last visit. The owner & the woman at the cash are both incredibly warm & pleasant. The food is out of this world - amazing flavours & portions. The falafel was so fresh & delicious & the (vegetarian!!) shish taouk is absolutely incredible. I moved to Ile Perrot & missed this place soo much. I had to go into the city with my 10 year old son & we decided to stop in for lunch. WOW! I forgot how amazing this place is from the warm greeting when you walk in to the delicious food, so fresh & tasty. The desserts are unbelievable. Thank God I moved because I would be eating there everyday. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch whenever you're in the area. 10 stars!!View more

Best food if you're looking for authentic Israeli cuisine! The owners are always welcoming-in fact, one is Arab & the other is Jewish, a true symbol of coexistence. Check out this place-it's my favorite!
Just to be clear, the food is always fresh, whether you come early in the morning, at lunch, or right before closing. I can't forget about Shani-the nicest person! She works at the front desk, always positive, & she lights up the restaurant.
