Ordered online from the website listed on Google map, this is veg lunch specials. Food is really delicious & price is really affordable! Recommend for NDG neighbors
I ordered garlic naan , chicken pakora & panner & it was beyond my expectations. If you are looking for authentic Indian food then must try once. My best restaurant for the Indian food.
One of the best Indian food restaurants in NDG. Great service & the food is always delicious.
We eat here once in a while a food is good . We ordered biryani for 20 people for a house party & everyone liked it. However they did not start preparing it until we went there to take the order , so they ended up giving us extra plates for their mistake . All in all it went well !!
Really authentic Indian restaurants in canada. Best taste in my 10 years experience in canada. Loved their service. Nice quite & fast.
We ordered the Butter Chicken Thali & Vegan Thali for delivery & it was excellent. The meal arrived hot & fresh, & looked appetizing. The vegetables were seasoned perfectly & the dal was flavourful & rich tasting even though it's really healthy. Dal tasted like it had simmered all day, to really let the flavours blend. Tandoor chicken was hot & tender with just the right amount of spice. The butter chicken was tender & delicious, with just the right amount of sauce. Spinach tofu is one of those dishes that might convert even spinach haters, or those who usually order spinach paneer. Not cheap, but great value, generous portions, more than enough for two people, & so much more nutritious than the same price spent on usual takeaway. Friendly service. Thank you!
The food!!!! So good. I was recommended the Lamb Korma by the matron & it exceeded my expectations. Fresh, homemade food full of flavorful spices! I'm also a regular for the Lamb Biryani & it never disappoints.
Just happened to see this restaurant listed in grab app & ordered food from it . The delivery was fast considering the distance & food was amazing . I ordered combo B & it was enough for two people . The quantity & quality of food worth the money. Don't miss to try this place .
Always a great experience when we go there either for pick-up or eating at the restaurant. Some of the best Indian food I've eaten in Montreal. The butter chicken is excellent & spiced to your liking. The Chana samosas are delicious & naan is hard to resist. I've never had a bad dish here & encourage everyone who loves authentic Indian food to give this great place a try. .
The place & food is a 10/10. Specially the owners & the love for food they serve. Probably the best Dal Makhani in whole Canada. Brings back the legit Indian flavors.
The food wasn't bad. I enjoyed my meal. I would definitely order it again. The only problem was the delivery took about 2 hours, but to cut them some slack they were delivering outside they're normal delivery zone.
It wasnt 2 hours far, maybe 10mins further then their normal route. So with that being said, you might wait a while for your food. I would give it a 7/10. I do recommend.
I went to Express Indian on Somerled twice so far since moving to Montreal (one using public transport, once on foot). The food was good (the one time we actually got to eat the food we paid for). Here is my big issue: twice i went to this restaurant fully prepared with my own containers. You know, pollution & the current climate crisis in mind. the first time, i had plastic containers. the food came from the kitchen in my containers, FULLY WRAPPED IN TINFOIL. The next time, learning from the first encounter, i brought large-sized mason jars. They brought my jars back empty & sat them on the counter. Finally, after quite a long wait, they brought out two of their own, one-time-use ALUMINIUM take-out containers. The person then informed me (at that time, & not before bringing out this WASTE) that the openings of the jars were too narrow to be able to get the food inside. It is so disheartening as it is to be footprint-minded in a seemingly disposable world. But this kind of situation can be utterly crushing to someone trying hard to live without creating more waste. It's almost as if they are trying to make some sort of political statement by straight up refusing to use the containers i bring in with me (even though this would save them a bit of money - just use the containers for the next person)!
In the end, the food from their aluminium containers went EVERYWHERE in their plastic bags & in my backpack (unlike had it been in sealed mason jars) & my family & I did not even get to enjoy the food.
Best Indian Lunch specials in the city - price & quality! Service depends on the number of people dining when you are there, but the food quality & preparation is always excellent...the Meat & Vegetarian lunch plate specials are the house special...Enjoy!
Excellent service. Bon prix. Cuisine 6/5. À recommander fortement.
