They found a table for us within 6 minutes of arriving (wait time) & service was a little slow to start ( they were slammed) but was impeccable. Cocktails were delicious ( whisky sour for my friend- was not on cocktail menu but they made it any way & I had a pineapple mojito) both were spot on. Ordered the Salmon platers - fresh salmon with fresh capers, side plate of bagels, cucumbers & red onion). We saw the operator owner who was, even busing the tables for a quick turnover. When he overheard it was my birthday, he came over & gave us the red carpet of attention & made our outing very special. Side plate of dollar pancakes with fruits in a light sugary sauce was Incredible & very appreciated. This is an owner Shah) who cares & wants your experience to be a dining experience. Couldn't expound enough superlatives to tell him , how we appreciated his service. Will go back often & bring friends..

This was our second, special celebration at this very inviting, warm, breakfast restaurant. Father's day was sad for me, as my kids were away & unable to attend my celebration. I was invited by Esther & we were initially told that reservation were complete, however, they found a table for us within minutes of speaking to the manager. My companion had the Salmon Platter which was delicious & very inviting. So much food it took 4 plates to show off this signature platter. I had the Chicken waffle platter which was unbelievable & I requested mor syrup, no fuss & no extra charge. Once again we were served efficiently, courteously & though they were slammed for this Sunday event we managed to be well served. The ownermanager (man of all talents) came over to our table & chatted with us, he remembered our last visit to this wonderful restaurant food experience. He unfortunately informed us that he will closing this great resto, as the owner's of Royalmount have a different vision with his own & he could not compromise his family commitments to bend to their views. What a terrible loss for this real restaurateur who knows how to serve his clientele, has taught his staff how to accommodate his patrons & doesn't miss any small detail. Shah, good luck to you, we are sorry to see you leave & we will come down to St. Henri to your little gem. Good luck with your new terrace... I am sure you will smash it!!
Had a fantastic experience at those restaurant. Good food, service, & short wait time. Beautiful aesthetic as well! Only downside: only two gluten free options on the menu. As a celiac I found this very limiting, & I hope they can update the menu, by perhaps offering gluten free bread for example. I would recommend this restaurant, but probably not for gluten free people.

Manager or receptionist is disrespectful. Service 0. we left so disrespected that we just left before we even order. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
J'ai été une première fois dans ce restaurant c'était bien la nourriture était bonne, je tiens à préciser que je n'ai pas faite de réservation pour y aller, & puis la deuxième fois que je suis allée c'est à ce moment là que le problème a commencé le gérant a refusé de nous accueillir parce qu'il n'avait pas assez d'employés en cuisine donc il nous a dit si vous n'avalez pas de réservation vous ne pouvez pas y avoir accès au restaurant sachant qu'on était seulement deux personnes. Mais malgré ça j'y suis quand même retourné & puis la on avait commandé notre nourriture tout était bien mais au moment du paiement je n'avais pas donné un pourboire parce que le service a été long & puis là le serveur m'a obligé à donner un pourboire & il m'a faite remboursé le montant que j'avais payé la où j'ai pas donné de pourboire sans même demander ma permission & m'a oblige à payer une deuxième fois en ajoutant le pourboire & ça m'a déçu. Donc oui cert leurs nourriture est bonne mais leurs service est très mauvais que se soit les serveurs ou le gérant donc je ne vais plus jamais y retourner c'est un très mauvaise expérience pour moi .
Very disappointed with the customer service. We waited at the front for almost 10 minutes while three employees saw us standing there. No one came to greet us, acknowledge our presence, or let us know if there was a wait for a table. Instead, they kept looking at us & continued with what they were doing, leaving us standing there without any communication. A simple greeting or explanation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression.
Had a great experience. The restaurant is well located & pretty. Food was really tasty, but one of the portions was small, & the menu is a bit redundant & lacking variety in my opinion. However, very tasty! Prices vary from okay to more expensive.
Edit June 2025: Tried it again & the menu changed, food was so generous & good, service was awesome! Would come back, I really like it!
