I came here to say the truth & nothing but the truth, Amen. Even though I am sure my grandmother & great-grandmother are gonna spit on my head from heaven... it feels almost illegal to say what I am about to say, lol...
So I bought these pierogies from you guys in my childhood Ukrainian store where my family, even my grandparents, were also buying their pierogies. I didn't know it was Polish or made in MTL (which is cool btw). & NOW I can never go back. It's too late; it's like you guys ruined my childhood memories, no joke.
Knowing I tasted them for the first time today, after by mistake*** of course having them defrosted in the fridge for 2 days (*je sais sacrilège*** listen I was busy, I came to cook them straight out of the freezer & I placed them in the fridge cuz something came up, so forget it... so ME not wasting food, still plastic packed... like who cares). So I realized quick enough they were sourdough handmade too late; I guess you can imagine the fat from the pierogies being out. I made them boil even if it created a mess. I even tried to cook them after on the skillet; it was mochi-like ravioli sticky, but you know what? The smell was so incredible, even looking like shit, I had to taste them even if I was not hungry.
Guess what? It costs me to admit it, but they were the best pierogies I have ever tasted in my life.
To a point where I came to ask myself: is it that we are all too proud that we keep saying we have the best, or that all my grandparents never tasted or wanted to admit Polish are maybe the best? Cuz now I will never be able to go back. Now I know it, it's over. I will even have to learn to make them by hand by myself to restore my ancestral pierogies to compete with you guys. It's gonna take ages & a lot of dishes to clean, all because of you, but now I have no choice. I will never be able to eat Ukrainian pierogies like before, knowing what I tasted today & how good it was. I hate that I love you too much, but it's true. Go buy their pierogies, they are incredible... for now. xox
P.S.: Only point, maybe putting the cardboard with the ingredients on the outside of the packages could be a good idea for people who defrost them by mistake lol. Thank you!

Discovered it while on a walk, ordered takeout the spinach soup & beetroot with vegetables. For 6 dollars i would have like my cup to be full which it wasn't for the beetroot. I also ordered the cheese peroxide, they were tasty not very hot very little caramelized onions & very small portions of salad & coleslaw. Maybe dining in would have been more presentable. For 25 dollars I expected a bit more.

They have a cozy vibe that showcases Polish culture & cuisine. Even with takeout-& a bag of frozen pierogies-everything tasted great.
