Highly recommend! The food is so, so good (we had dumplings & noodles, & the vinegar sauce was exactly as it should be), & the portions are generous. The ladies who served us were really nice & the restaurant looks great.View more

If I could give them 20 stars, I would. The server was so nice to us, the food was delicious. We got the pork & green onions in sweet & sour soup dumplings. Easily the best dumplings I've ever had in my life. The soup tasted unlike anything I've ever had before, it was so good, I'll never say this enough. I could only eat half the bowl, I brought the rest home with me & had it the next day. It was just as good, if not, much better. It's like meeting a celebrity & shaking their hand & not wanting to wash your hand because they touched it, I almost don't want to rinse my tongue from the richness of all of these flavours.

Quand je meurs, je veux servir de garniture à des dumplings exactement comme ceux-là, être mélangée aux épices & aux oignons verts, enveloppée dans la pâte mince, refermée soigneusement à la main, déposée dans un cuiseur vapeur en bambou, puis incorporée à leur soupe aigre-douce de création presque divine, je veux tourner dans l'estomac de mes ami.es comme ces dumplings ont tourné dans le mien.

We stumbled upon this place & decided to try it out. It was completely empty. The cashier was very courteous & greeted us. While we were using Google Translate to read the menu, a woman (who I assume is the owner & cook) noticed we were tourists & came out personally to translate & explain the menu to us. She said,'Everyone who comes here says that we have the best dumplings.' Spoiler alert: she was absolutely & undeniably 100% correct.
We ordered the kimchi, crushed cucumber salad, fried shrimp, & pork & coriander dumplings in broth. While the first three were amazing, the real showstopper was the dumplings. The dumplings were incredibly juicy & fresh, & the broth complemented the dumplings perfectly. We devoured the dumplings & had to convince ourselves not to order more. It was THAT good! It's quite literally the best dumplings we've ever had. We're seriously considering coming back tomorrow. Thanks so much for such a delicious meal!View more

c'était vide quand on est rentrés mais c'est beau a l'intérieur. on a commandé 2 soupes miso, des dumplings boeuf & oignon & un plat de nouilles boeuf+broccoli. les dumplings étaient ok, huileuses à l'intérieur mais c'est pas la fin du monde pour moi. je l'ai ai commandés frites à la poêle mais la moitié des dumplings n'avaient pas une croûte. les nouilles au boeuf de mon conjoint étaient WOW!!! vraiment bon. les soupes étaient bonnes aussi.View more

My friends celebrated their birthday here, & it was a very good experience! The food arrived quickly, the service was nice, our reserved tables were far enough from the other customers that we could be a little loud without bothering them, & the ambient music was just loud enough to properly accompany our conversations. Price wise, it's very affordable & worth every dollar. I ordered some dumplings & they were absolutely delicious. I even tried my first sake & that was very fun. Vous n'irez pas à l'Étoile rouge pour le décor, l'ambiance ou pour des dumplings frits secs. Vous irez pour des rouleaux de printemps surprenants, agréable en bouche, qui ne goûte pas l'huile. Les nouilles frites aux crevettes étaient généreuses en crevettes pour le prix. La portion comble un appétit moyen. La saveur du plat trés agréable aux papilles qui sont choquées par les fortes épices. Si au contraire, vos papilles sont d'éternelles insatisfaites, le pot d'épices piquantes est sur chaque table. Les dumplings je les ai demandés frits. Si vous êtes adepte de fritures 360° limite brulé, vous faites en la demande. Les dumplings sont frits=présence d'huile. Si vous voulez des dumplings brulés & secs, vous serez déçus. Les garnitures étaient délicieuses, poulet & champignons, puis porc & oignons verts. Goûts présents & bien balancés.
