Les critiques très négatives de ce restaurant sont exagérées (j'ai hésité entre 3 & 4 étoiles). Le service est rapide & efficace, oui c'est sur c'est pas chaleureux comme le reste de Montreal mais c'est la Chine là mon pote. Certains plats sont très bons (dumplings avec la sauce sah c'est bon, voir photo), d'autres sont juste bon mais sans plus (la majorité je pense), les légumes sont parfois pas assez cuits (poivron). C'est pas incroyable mais c'est pas chère & si vous avez une grande faim les options pour deux sont très copieuses (avis de gros mangeurs). La Sapporo à 8$ par contre on repassera. Est ce que j'y retournerai ? Non faut pas déconner tout de même mais pour une soirée c'est sympa. Si t'as kiffe l'avis hésite pas à t'abonner & à liker pour d'autres avis croustillants sur la ville de Montréal t'entends.View more

La nourriture était bonne quand nous sommes allés & surtout, c'est pas cher. Le staff est un peu bête mais efficace parce que malgré toutes les mauvais commentaires sur google, c'est toujours plein. & puis c'est vrai qu'ils sont assez agressants avec le pourboire, si vous êtes plus de 4 ils vous disent que pour les groupes (lol) le 15% de tip est obligatoire & mis sur la facture. Perso c'est ce que je laisse anyway mais soyez prévenus: vous dérangez les serveuses avec votre présence mais on veut votre argent!View more

Good value Chinese restaurant. Surprised at the low rating. No problems with the service & everything we ordered was freshly cooked. Large sized portions & the dishes we ordered tasted good - black bean chicken, steamed greens with oyster sauce & a chow mein. Shame we didn't have room for any pot stickers which would have been next up for us.View more

Typical Chinese restaurant in North America started by immigrant. Backroom is also used to store items needed (oil etc). Food are great. I'd recommend the dim sum package. It says good for 2 but can easily fit 3 people.View more

Certainly treated so much better here than upstairs resto where we were ignored for almost 10 min waiting while they had empty tables. The peking duck, salt & pepper calamari & salt & pepper shrimps with shrimp fried rice wad absolutely amazing 👏 service was prompt & good 👍 delicious food, made right to taste, we asked for extra spice & extra spicy the seafood was ❤️ We were grateful to be served with a smile & served fast. You can see them cooking behind the window. Their Peking duck is also really amazing. Thank you so much for welcoming us in after a horrific experience upstairs 🙏 😢 ❤️ You have won our hearts & tastebuds over. Next time we are ordering more dishes & a couple to go! Gets a bad rep. Food is fantastic & the price for it is unmatched, ESPECIALLY the Peking Duck Combo for 4 (tons of good food). Customer service isn't lacking at all; they were courteous with our requests & got the food out quickly.View more

I had an excellent dining experience at Restaurant Ethan as the food was very delicious, & the service was attentive & very accommodating. Everything is very authentic Hong Kong style especially the won-ton noodle soup, congee & youtiao (Chinese donut). Definitely a 5 stars restaurant.View more

Depuis que j'ai vu le cuisinier qui gère les viandes sortir des toilettes avec les mêmes gants de latex que ceux utilisés pour découper la viande, disons qu'en tant que client régulier je n'ai plus trop envie d'y aller. Aussi un gros nettoyage de la place ne serait pas de trop.View more

Tried this restaurant while walking in Chinatown as it looked busy inside. BIG MISTAKE not taking a look at reviews first to see the low ratings. We ordered the combo A for two & added 10 pieces of dumplings as it is very reasonably priced. The combo includes soup, chicken, fried rice, vegetables, egg roll. It was a red flag when the general tso's chicken came out 1 min after ordering - the chicken was luke warm so I think they have it pre made as its a popular dish part of many combos. For those who say this is authentic Chinese food, it is definitely not. It's westernized fast food Chinese that is average at best. We were brought vegetables & multiple servers were yelling beside our table & across the restaurant that they messed up our table number & brought us the wrong type of veggies (I understand Cantonese). One of the servers eventually took the vegetable dish away, however I told her I had eaten a piece of broccoli & she looked at me & acknowledged what I said... then she took the vegetables & gave it to the table right beside us! After that, I didn't have much of an appetite - this shows the class of service or care that the restaurant operates at. While paying the cashier was extremely snappy & rude to the gentleman ahead of us ordering for take out. I would not go back nor recommend this restaurant.View more

Classic Cantonese fare with a BBQ meat section!
Like any good Chinese place, service was lacking so be prepared but the food made up for it.
Not the best quality but really decent if you are craving Cantonese. Prices are very fair despite how expensive everything else is. I mean where else can you get 10 dumplings for only $5.25!View more
