If you want a real treat, their pistachio cappuccino is an absolute must-try! Beyond the exceptional coffee, the pastries are also so delicious. The apricot & pistachio-filled croissants are so incredibly flaky & fresh.

What really sets this spot apart, though, is the atmosphere & the hospitality. The baristas are wonderfully sweet, welcoming, & clearly passionate about what they do. The layout is perfect too; the upstairs mezzanine offers a cozy, quiet retreat that is fantastic for catching up on work or reading, while the sunlit outdoor terrace is the ultimate place to relax during the warmer months. Whether you are grabbing a quick morning fuel-up or looking for a comforting place to unwind, this neighborhood staple hits every mark. Highly recommended!

We've been coming to this coffee shop since day one, & for a long time it was one of our favorite places. That's why it's honestly disappointing to see how much the customer service has changed lately.

The last few times we've visited, the atmosphere has felt extremely cold & unwelcoming. There's no eye contact, no'thank you,' no'have a good day,' & sometimes not even a response when we say thank you ourselves. We'll say'good evening' to the baristas & genuinely feel like we're interrupting their conversation.

I completely understand that baristas are human & can have bad days. I also understand that working in customer service can be tiring. But there is a difference between expecting someone to be cheerful 100% of the time & expecting a basic level of courtesy. A simple smile, acknowledgment,'thank you,' or'have a good evening' really doesn't require a long conversation or fake enthusiasm.

I actually used to work in customer service at a small local business myself, so I understand both sides. I know everyone has difficult days, but I also know how much these small gestures matter, especially when customers are being polite & respectful.

We always bring our cups back to the counter when we're finished, even though many customers don't, & yet we don't even get a simple acknowledgment. It's not about expecting special treatment; we just expect the basic courtesy that used to be part of the experience here.

We're not asking for baristas to be robots or to have a conversation with every customer. We just miss the warmth & appreciation that made us love this place in the first place. Hopefully this is something the team can take as constructive feedback, because we genuinely would love to enjoy coming here again the way we used to.

My favorite coffee shop in Montreal 🫶 the Cafe Crema is legendary & it's my favorite way to wake up slow on vacation. Love the playlist, ambience is nice (recommended to me by two local friends) & I look forward to coming back every year.
