Très bon Margarita mais, malheureusement, l'expérience Escondite pour les meilleurs vendeurs a été décevant. De plus, une serveuse manquant d'expérience ne nommait pas les plats que nous recevions de sorte que nous ne savions ce que nous mangeions.
L'expérience escondite nous a déçue, tant par les choix de plats que le prix. Mieux vaut commander à la carte. Les plats ne nous étaient pas présentés lorsque servis, les plats n'étaient pas servis aux bonnes personnes, la serveuse ne parlait pas français & il a fallu plus de 20 minutes avant de recevoir la facture. Les cocktails & les tacos étaient très bons. Nous ne répéterons pas l'expérience.
Escondite Drummond is always a great spot & one of my favourite places to go for a fun, authentic Mexican vibe in Montreal.
The atmosphere is lively, warm, & inviting, with a decor & energy that make it feel like more than just a regular restaurant. It's the kind of place that works for many different occasions, whether you're going out with friends, grabbing drinks, having a casual dinner, or starting a night out.
The staff have always been welcoming, friendly, & genuinely nice to talk to, which really adds to the overall experience. Every time I've been, the service has been warm & relaxed, & it makes the place feel even more enjoyable.
I strongly recommend sitting at the bar if you can. It's a great way to enjoy the atmosphere, chat with the staff, & try some of their cocktails. Their margaritas & mezcalitas are really good - fresh, balanced, & exactly what you want from a Mexican-inspired spot.
The food has also always been fresh & tasty. Everything I've tried has had great flavour, & the overall experience feels consistent every time.
Overall, Escondite Drummond is a great choice if you're looking for good Mexican food, excellent cocktails, a fun vibe, & friendly service. Highly recommend for pretty much any occasion.
The Miss Paloma cocktail was fantastic, & the Escondite food experience was incredible. We went for happy hour with colleagues, & the service was very fast, even with a large group of 12. I highly recommend this place!
18$ pour 5 crevettes, 4 morceaux d'avocat symboliques & 2 mini tranches de jalapeno (qui n'étaient même pas sensé être dans le plat selon le menu), tout ça dans de la soupe tomate. J'en ai bien ris avec les amis. Les tacos sont généreux en viande mais pauvres en légumes. Bref, un petit peu déçu par la bouffe mais la lager est bien passée.
If you know limited French or little to none, this place is still very welcoming & easy to order at. Staff are friendly, the food is great, & the vibes are awesome. Every time my partner & I go to Montreal we always make a point to eat here. My fav is the Gyoza Nachos. If you can make a stop here, I highly suggest you do.
