We had an amazing experience at Ermitage restaurant celebrating my husband birthday. Beautiful abeyance, welcoming atmosphere created by our beautiful hosts. Great service. Excellent Food. Excellent, friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Recommend ordering the Tasting Menu for 2 persons -5 course dinner witch includes 3 different Russian & Eastern Europe Entrée Sampling platters, Lemon & Vodka Sorbet, choice of 1 of 4 main courses & dessert. Small, but good wine list & of course a selection of vodkas.
Un très bon accueil & de très bons plats, de l'entrée au dessert. Nous avions pris la table d'hôte du soir & c'était également parfait en quantité : on n'est pas ressorti avec le ventre trop plein, c'était juste ce qu'il fallait ! On recommande chaudement !
Visited Ermitage with my boyfriend last night. I've lived in Canada for 11 years now but am Russian-Ukrainian. The taste of food really hit home for me. I highly recommend this restaurant for some truly authentic Russian homemade food including Borchtch, Solianka & Chicken Kiev. You must have a slice of Medovik for dessert, it is to die for.
Ermitage is one of the best restaurants I ever been in Montreal. It's very cozy & friendly. The food it's delicious , the flavours added on the dishes are perfect. It's gonna make all the money if you plan a visit. I highly recommend it. Definitely you need to try it.

Great atmosphere, tasty food, friendly service. Being a big fan of authentic Rusian food , I enjoyed every single visit I made in this restaurant! If you are a russian food lover I recommand you this place.
Restaurant chaleureux dont l'excellente nourriture en vaut le prix - le caviar, blini & les plats de poissons crus etaient frais & simplement délicieux. Service offert par des gens sympathiques, ambiance très classe :) Bref, excellent pour un dîner semi-privé en famille en raison de sa petite taille où pour un souper romantique. je le recommende.
- Aussi pour quelqu'un comme moi qui cherche à apprendre le Russe, les belles demoiselles travaillant là furent très gentilles d'essayer de platiquer avec moi & n'ont pas hésité à nous offrir des shooters de vodka gratuit!
We've been to this restaurant several times.
& it got a new look since the restaurant moved to a new location with interesting interior solution & a variety of pictures that you can even buy.
We had an avocado stuffed with shrimps, borsch (a national russian soup).
& as a main course we took lamb chops & beef stroganoff, what was really amazing.
As I found out the lamb is made with the house made sauce where madera is added & Boletus (white mushrooms), so this makes the taste really incomparable.
What is more pleasant, they have live music on Fridays & Sundays, violinist & one female singer with a large repertoire of good music, modern & classics.
I would strongly recommend to go there to experience something pleasant & new.
