Friends, I just discovered an incredible Eastern European restaurant in downtown Montreal! I went there for lunch today, & I have to say - I'm truly impressed! The borscht was a standout: rich, hearty, & bursting with flavor. The presentation was on point, making it feel like a special experience from the very first bite. The interior is warm & inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that feels like you're stepping into someone's home. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, & enjoy a meal that's made with care. The location is super convenient, & what really added to the experience was the owner, Galina. She's so welcoming & friendly, making sure everyone feels right at home. If you're curious about authentic Russian & Ukrainian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Really Good Russian restaurant, the waitress was welcoming & super friendly. Very good atmosphere. The food was so good, I Really recommend the boeuf stroganof.

Great time, very generous portions of fresh hand made authentic Russian foods. Had the tasting menu & it was 100% worth it, very honest pricing too. We had drinks, extras & it was less than 100$ per person. The host was charming & made us feel welcome, definitely recommend.
My family & I decided to have dinner here while on our vacation. Stepping into Ermitage feels like going home. The ambiance & decor created the perfect environment. The food was fresh & perfectly prepared. Each dish was carefully crafted. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite.
We came here on our trip from San Francisco. Food was very good. Owner made us feel at home & she treated my son like her own grandchild. Ambiance is nice & clean with cute decor. Highly recommend.

Je suis allé mangé là 2 fois pour mon anniversaire. La nourriture est excellente, le service est très bon & rapide, l'atmosphère russe est immersive! Les plats russes & européens sont excellents à ce restaurant! Le chef m'a cuisiné un gâteau spécial secret pour célébrer mon anniversaire. Je suis très content! Je recommande à tout le monde qui veulent s'initier à la nourriture Russe d'aller manger à ce restaurant. Je recommande aussi aux amateurs de nourriture russe d'y aller, aussi! Bravo, merci & j'ai hâte de retourner à ce restaurant pour une troisième fois!
A very authentic Russian fine dining experience. Excellent variety of food, all homemade. The présentation & service was excellent as well. I highly recommend trying the tasting menu.
Nous y avons fêté l'anniversaire de mon mari. C'était notre première fois chez Ermitage & ce fut la plus belle découverte de la soirée. L'atmosphère & les décorations du resto te transportent dans un autre siècle. Gala, la hôte, nous a accompagné avec des conseils & des recommandations dans nos choix. Elle fait vraiment attention à chaque petit détail pour nous offrir une expérience de rêve. Nous avons pris le boeuf bourguignon, l'agneau, le filet mignon Rossini & la caille flambée. Absolument impeccable, pas un mot à redire. Pour une petite entrée à partager, le plat principal & une bouteille de vin à quatre, on a payé entre 50-60$ par personne, ce qui est un prix super décent considérant la fraîcheur des plats préparés sur le coup & maison. Notre seul regret c'est de ne pas avoir pu prendre un dessert, mais ça va nous donner l'occasion d'y retourner.
The host was very very nice & made sure we were very well taken care of, this is not to mention the quality of the food we had there. I highly recommend the degustation menu for a nice variety of Russian staples!

Beautiful restaurant! Relaxing Atmosphere. Amazing & Attentive Service! Homemade Eastern European cuisine. 5 stars! I Definitely recommend! I was impressed from the time I walked in, to the time I left.
Absolutely amazing! We had the tasting menu, & we would highly recommend it. Everything was such high quality, so tasty, & we left extremely full. We also had some vodka with the meal, would also recommend!
Our family of five had the table d'hote for lunch. The food was excellent. Our host was very welcoming, & we would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to enjoy traditional Russian food in a nice atmosphere. This place is located in 5 min walk from St-Joseph Oratory.
