Reviews for Erablière Au Bec Sucré
We came from Winnipeg for a Québécois experience, & this cabane à sucre did not disappoint. My French is a bit rusty & my English husband doesn't speak any French, but the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm & friendly, & the small venue gave it an intimate, authentic feel-very different from some of the more commercial sugar shacks I've visited in the past.
The food was traditional & exceptional-definitely not a great spot for vegetarians, but perfect if you're looking for classic sugar shack fare. There were lots of families there, including big, multi-generational ones, which added to the lively, community vibe. The petting zoo was a delightful bonus.

This is THE BEST sugar shack I've ever been too in Quebec. Wow!!! I won't tell you where it is because I want to keep it a secret. It's my precious (ref. Lord of the rings). Fabulous experience. Felt like I was invited to a family get together. Authentic & delicious. 3 thumbs up! I'll be back! It's a beautiful spot too.
