About us
It has been many years that the likable Elio and his wife Nina from the province of Avellino close to Naples have opened the doors of Restaurant Elio Pizzeria. We must say that this restaurant is not just a simple pizzeria, Elio and family offer to their North American customers typical Neapolitans Home Style dishes. During all these years, Restaurant Elio has served numerous and faithful customers. When the restaurant first opened in 1964, it had the ability to serve only 18 diners. Today, Elio and family are proud of being able to accommodate more than 700 individuals due to their two reception halls (Buffet Anna Maria). With a gentle smile, Elio and Family wish you a great home style food experience, one you won't surely forget.

Nice restaurant but SO expensive, especially for what you get.. For example, the calamari's breading had so much pepper, was very oily & came right off the calamari, plate was topped with fries(), duo pizza & pasta was okay at best. Hard penne pasta with bland tomato sauce, pizza was a bit overcooked & something was off. Waiter was rude, felt like we were bothering him.. I would not go back.View more

First of all the food was fantastic. We were looking to try what we had heard of as Montreal style pizza & saw that Elios was the place to go. It's a great Neapolitan restaurant with tons of options on the menu. The Elios staff were extremely welcoming & the service was fantastic. They found out we were tourists from Vermont & they made sure we felt right at home. They walked us through the menu making sure we knew things that might confuse us (entree being an appetizer rather than a meal, the differences between their styles of pizzas & more). They asked us questions about home & our trip to Montreal, & they gave us some great suggestions of things to see & do while we were in town. We're already planning another trip to Montreal just to go back to Elios!View more

This is an OG spot that offers both thin & think crust pizzas along with a variety of pastas & other traditional dishes. The service is friendly & the vibe is laid back. I had a small fried calamari to start & a thin-crust pizza with wine. Reasonable prices for both the food & drink.View more

I have been going to Ellio's for over 40 years. When Ellio was alive this place was amazing. In the past 3 years we have been back several times. Last night was the last time, we will never go back. Although the food was good, the service was horrible. The restaurant is falling apart. We arrived a 6:00 they had us fed & out within 40 minutes. Waiter do not smile, wobbly tables, the bread was probably fome last week. The waiter just through the bread basket on the table was he was passing by. This used to be a place where you could have great food & a very nice homey atmosphere. Ellio & his wife carred about their customers. Now it us just about getting as many people in & out as quickly as possible. We felt really rushed. Never going back. It's kind of sad not to want to go back to what seemed like a second home & a second family.View more

Après une longue marche, nous souhaitions manger en paix. En voyant les avis de cette endroit, je pensais me retrouver dans un super restaurant. Quelle ne fut pas ma déception quand le match France Belgique de l'Euro était à fond partout dans le restaurant (même dans les toilettes). Je n'avais vu ça dans aucun avis & aurais aimé le savoir. En attendant nos plats, nous avons chacune mangé notre seul petit pain, le serveur est arrivé & a récupéré la corbeille de pain aussitôt. Nous pensions qu'il allait en rajouter mais non nous ne l'avons plus jamais vu. Nos plats sont arrivés, nous vous laissons regarder les photos. Ma pizza était correcte mais très peu garnie (même de sauce tomate) & les pâtes semblaient clairement industrielles. Pas d'effort de présentation, ni de boulettes de viandes. Beaucoup plus de sauce, d'huile & de sel qu'autre chose. Le serveur calculait chaque grain de parmesan qu'il mettait. Mon amie voulait des bolognaises. Un des serveurs était gentil mais l'autre antipathique. Pas de sourire, pas de gentillesse & lorsque je demande l'addition, je dois attendre une bonne quinzaine de minutes alors qu'il ne servait personne. Le gentil serveur a dû venir lui-même. Je vous passe l'étape de la digestion, qui était haute en couleur.View more

Cuisine authentique qui a malheureusement perdu beaucoup. L'intérieur est négligé , bancs & sièges endommagés. Télévision plus que forte .
