I went to Elforne for lunch with a group of 10. We called in advance to let them know we were coming. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty - & unfortunately, we quickly understood why.
We waited about an hour for our pizzas. When they finally arrived, the crust was burnt while the middle was still raw. The ingredients did not taste fresh, & the cheese felt industrial & low quality. For $30 per pizza in downtown Montreal, this is completely unacceptable - especially in such a competitive market.
What made it worse was the service. Only one person was working in the restaurant. He never once came to check on us or ask if the food was okay. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment of the long wait, nothing.
I genuinely wanted this place to be good. The concept has potential. But based on this experience, I cannot recommend it. With this level of execution & attention to detail, it's hard to see how it can compete long term.
We stumbled upon Elforne on a Friday night without a reservation. Seeing it empty at first made us hesitant, but the owner greeted us so warmly that we decided to stay-& I'm so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing. The owner was a one-man show, acting as our waiter, cashier, & chef. He was so attentive that he even asked if we wanted the pizzas customized to suit the kids. We ordered the Margherita, Mediterranean, & Poulet Mariné; every single one had a perfect blend of fresh ingredients. This is a true hidden gem with top-tier hospitality!
I tried to take it as easy as I could while still being honest, but the owner had a salty response so let me give an unfiltered review:
This pizza restaurant is comfortable enough but something about the dimensions of the place prevents it from achieving a desirable atmosphere. The pizzas here are rather uninventive. Nothing really shines about the ingredients they use, pretty average quality. The dough is alright but nothing masterful, doesn't seem like an authentic Italian recipe. I've been to a few similar pizza restaurants with far superior product. Pizzeria No. 900, Focoliao & Pizzera la Foccacia to name just a few. The service was good however. The owner needs to understand that reviews are a take of one's subjective experience, not everyone is going to like what you do & that's okay. Keep going for the ones who do.
Une place très recommandée pour vivre une belle expérience culinaire. Ce restaurant offre bien plus qu'une simple pizza ou des pâtes : c'est une véritable expérience gastronomique. Les ingrédients sont d'une fraîcheur irréprochable, & chaque plat est préparé avec une finesse qui reflète le talent d'un chef exceptionnel. L'accueil chaleureux & attentionné met tout de suite à l'aise. Une adresse incontournable pour tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine & de dégustation raffinée. Un vrai coup de coeur à partager avec vos proches . Merci à tout le staff pour cette belle expérience.

Superbe expérience au restaurant Elforne! Les pizzas étaient excellentes & les ingrédients très frais, c'était autant bon voir meilleur que les pizzas que j'ai mangé en Italie. J'ai aussi bu le meilleur thé que j'ai pris dans ma vie. Le service était parfait, le propriétaire était très attentionné. Je recommande fortement pour tout le monde & je reviendrai ici dès que je reviens à Montréal. Merci encore pour tout!
La pizza est délicieuse & ça se voit que c'est cuisiné avec amour , le chef est chaleureux, la qualité des ingrédients est excellente la serveuse est très aimable & respectueuse. C'est la plus bonne pizza que j'ai mangé au Canada ! Je recommande vivement !
La meilleure pizza napolitaine depuis que je suis arrivée à Montréal. Une pâte super moelleuse, des ingrédients super goûteux, les serveurs était très gentils, je n'irai plus ailleurs! Merci & à bientôt !

En vacances à Montréal, meilleure pizza goûtée au Québec !
La pâte est délicieuse, les ingrédients frais. La bruschetta était très bonne avec de la tomate fraîche, plus agréable que de la sauce tomate classique.

Une pizzeria comme on aime. Des produits de qualité & une cuisson au feu de bois remarquable. Je prends toujours des pizzas simples pour essayer une nouvelle pizzeria. Ça permet de voir la qualité de la pâte avec peu d'ingrédients. Mon choix était porté sur une margherita ou une funghi, j'ai fini par prendre la funghi & je vous avoue qu'elle était excellente. Mes compagnons de tables ont pris une focaccia aux anchois, câpres & fromage fêta (sublimissime) & une pizza au poulet mariné & poivron grillé. Tout est frais, aucun produit en can. Un plaisir. Le resto vient de débuter son activité dans le coin donc il installe encore sa déco. Ça vous empêche pas de faire un tour. C'est déjà propre est confortable. Perso je recommande !
