I had much better expectations for the food, it was pretty greasy & the taste was pretty bland.
However the guacamole & salsa with nachos were yummy. Service was quite slow too.
The 3 leches were to die for!

Just ordered from Ubereats , they gave me a free Alfajor . Food & dessert a 1000000/1000000 . Will be ordering often !!

Le monsieur qui m'a servi à la caisse est vraiment très désagréable. Je lui ai simplement demandé où je devais attendre ma commande, & il m'a répondu sur un ton agressif. Son attitude ne donne pas du tout envie de revenir commander ici. En revanche, le jeune homme qui m'a servi ensuite a été très gentil, patient & professionnel. Son accueil a été très apprécié.

the food is good, & the little market in the back is cute as well. but i found the cashier to be unconcerned & unfriendly. i returned the hibiscus juice i purchased & informed the cashier that it tasted extremely sour & spoiled, to which she just said'okay', with no concern for the other batches, no offer for a replacement item or refund, not even eye contact :( i felt like i was being an inconvenience for trying to warn them that the juice had gone sour.

I've ordered online from here a couple of times & it has been decent, though expensive, but it's always more when you order through a service. Going in person today was such a huge disappointment. I ordered ceviche cause I am a big lover of the dish & asked about the portion size, considering how high the price was. They had a special with a beer but I don't drink & was hungry. I figured ordering the meal version would have been more food but it was essentially the size of a soup bowl & BARELY any actual fish in it. It was the most expensive glorified salsa, basically, as it was manly tomato & onion (& a browning avocado on top) & cost 25 or so. I left hungry & upset, especially that I asked about portion sizes, & on top of it, it wasn't any good. Service was anything but warm & I felt ignored. There was one young man who was running around like he was carrying the weight of the restaurant on his back while the majority of his coworkers were chilling.

Heard some good things about El Rey Del Taco, so I had to try it myself, man! bad decision, food was just not good only saving grace was the ingredients was fresh other than that was all down hill. The taco pastor + burritos were so dull & bland the side rice had more flavor unfortunately was the smallest portion of the failed meal. I was really hoping for El Rey to be good.

Had a great experience dining here for a lunch out. The food was great. I got their birria tacos which were fantastic. Their chips & guac is also really good. They have a pretty good menu with tons of options & a store inside where you can purchase snacks - including their chips.
