The smallest bar in Canada specializing in rum-based cocktails - & easily one of the coziest. It may be tiny, but it's warm, lively, & full of charm. Even if you're not a rum drinker, don't worry: Jackson will convert you after just one (& probably a few more) of his incredible creations. It's the kind of place you fall in love with for its intimacy, its magical service, & its unforgettable cocktails. Each drink is a symphony: layered, seductive, impossible to replicate, & delivered with the kind of charisma that would make a 1940s movie star jealous.His Mojito? It's not a cocktail-it's a love letter written in mint & lime, sealed with a kiss of sunlight.
The Daiquiri? A frozen ode to elegance, sharp as a tailored suit & smoother than silk in a summer breeze. & don't even get me started on his signature creation-original, yet conjuring the strawberries of one's youth -wildly perfect, I half expected the glass to start glowing.
Jackson works the bar like a conductor commands an orchestra, every gesture purposeful, every pour poetic. He remembers your name, your drink, your dog's birthday-probably even what you were drinking in a past life.

Small space, big on personality & flavor. Jackson is the GOAT & we loved that he was ready to toss the menu to the side & help us select drinks based on a conversation about our preferences. We went to another very highly ranked'no menu' bar in town & found their drink discussion process to be very sanitized compared to Jackson sharing his personal tastes & recommendations & laughing with us-we much preferred this kind of personalized, intimate service! Plus the drinks themselves are great, so it's a win all around!

Incredible experience, Jackson created an unmatched environment that is both friendly & sophisticated. The hurricane & watermelon mojito both staples in rum based cocktails, were made stupendously! A surprising addition to the smallest bar in Canada is the warm & crispy cubano. A real must in Montreal.
A tiny bar located right next to The Coldroom & across from Bar Bisou Bisou, El Pequeño bar stands out from its sister bars. Like it's name, its very small, seats less than 10 people & little standing room. But rather than detracting, it adds to the intimacy of the bar & a close knit vibe. The cocktails are all Cuban twists on rum based classics like the daiquiri & Pina Colada. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks!
