The food was amazing. Authentic, everything was delicious. We got served pretty rapidly, our waiter was super sweet. The place wasn't very crowded(it is NYE-eve!) The lights her a little too bright, but that's a very small detail. Entertainment arrived. A very talented young man singing spanish ballads. It was wonderful for an impromptu datenight. Place is very clean. I recommend. ❤️ those were some pretty yummy tacos/flautas!View more

I recently visited El Patrón with my husband & we were both extremely satisfied with the food & service! Being a native Mexican myself, I was amazed by the authenticity of the dishes... everything from the birria tacos & "consomé" (broth), to the pambazos, guacamole, salsas & sweet bread was DELICIOUS. The warm service & flavours transported me back home & I will for sure be coming back soon, & often! 😄View more

Great food, service & amazing atmosphere. I went on a saturday evening around 8PM & there was a live singer (seems to be there fridays & saturdays from 7-10PM) who was very entertaining. In terms of food, very delicious & for some reason their seasoning was amazing that any food that I ordered complemented each other & I ended up eating a lot! Ate pozole rojo, tacos birria (comes with fries or salad, took the salad & it complements the tacos very well), horchata & tried the sopa de tortilla (spicier than what I've tried before but still great!), tacos cochinita pibil & the flautas. With all of that, 3 different sauces from mild to spicy, all tasting great. I would definitely come back again to keep trying the whole menu. A jewel to have in Laval!View more
