I was looking for a restaurant that was opened late that was not junk food. I happened to come across this restaurant with stellar reviews & being a lover of pasta, I had to try it out. I ordered the El Rosa with chicken & it was absolutely delicious! The sauce was so incredibly flavourful & the portions are huge! The waitress was also very friendly & courteous. I will definitely come back to this restaurant when I'm in Montreal!View more

I ordered the El Blanco & Caesar salad to go. The portions were enough for two people!
The pasta was a little dry so I recommend adding milk or water as the pasta soaked up most of the sauce or order it to go with more sauce.
The Caesar has olives which not used to but having the cherry tomatoes with it on a super hot day was refreshing.

Très bon restaurant lorsque vous avec une rage de pâtes comme il me prend souvent! Par contre si tout comme moi vous ne trippez pas sur l'ail, vous devez savoir que leurs sauces en contiennent beaucoup. Particulièrement la sauce Alfredo, que j'ai aussi trouvée très liquide. Mais je recommande néanmoins car les assiettes sont bouillantes! Un gros plus en ce qui me concerne!View more

From the moment we decided to give this spot a try, everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. Whether you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine or simply looking for a cozy, satisfying meal, El Pastaman is guaranteed to impress. We ordered two classic dishes-Alfredo pasta & Carbonara-& both were absolutely divine. The Alfredo pasta was creamy, rich, & perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sauce coating the fresh, perfectly cooked pasta. The flavors were indulgent yet comforting, a hallmark of great Italian cooking. On the other hand, the Carbonara was equally amazing, with a deliciously creamy texture & a rich, smoky flavor from the pancetta that elevated the dish to another level. Every bite was a reminder of why classic Italian dishes never go out of style. The portions were more than generous, which made the experience even better. For the price, the quantity & quality were exceptional, making it one of the best value-for-money meals I've had in a long time. Despite being a takeout order, the food was well-packaged & retained its freshness & flavor by the time we got home. One of the standout moments of the experience was the incredible customer service. The staff were welcoming & went out of their way to make us feel special. The person who handled our order was genuinely kind & thoughtful, even surprising us with a complimentary tiramisu. It's rare to find such gestures these days, & it truly made the experience memorable. Speaking of the tiramisu, it was absolutely perfect. You could tell it was made fresh & with authentic ingredients. The layers of mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, & cocoa were beautifully balanced, & the dessert wasn't overly sweet-just the way it should be. It had a unique flavor profile that felt traditional yet special, showcasing the skill & care that El Pastaman puts into its food. To top it off, the meal came with freshly baked bread that paired wonderfully with the pasta & added an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal. We enjoyed every single aspect of our takeout order, from the savory pasta to the sweet tiramisu. El Pastaman is more than just a restaurant-it's an experience that embodies the heart & soul of Italian cuisine. The combination of incredible food, generous portions, & outstanding customer service makes this a place you'll want to return to again & again. J'ai eu le plaisir de dîner dans ce restaurant hier, & je suis ravi de mon expérience. Le service était impeccable, & le personnel était accueillant & attentif surtout la caissière Aminea je pense son prénom .Les plats étaient savoureux, particulièrement spaghetti au sauce blanche avec extra champignons & crevettes qui était un vrai régal. El Pastaman lives up to its name. During our three-day stay in Montréal, we ate here the last two nights. My girlfriend suffers from coeliac disease, which is why we are always on the lookout for gluten-free options. El Pastaman offers gluten-free pasta. The pasta sauces are also gluten-free. I ate the "El Transparente" pasta with normal spaghetti. I have never eaten a better carbonara in my life. The sauce was perfectly balanced. The spaghetti was topped with crispy bacon, juicy pancetta, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spring onions & sprinkled with parmesan. It was real soul food. The taste is 1A. My girlfriend also liked it. On the second evening, I tried the spaghetti bolognese (El Rosso). This was also delicious, but couldn't even begin to compete with the delicious carbonara. Our recommendation is therefore: try the carbonara. The restaurant itself offers plenty of seating. You can come by without a reservation, which we really liked. However, the ambience was not the nicest (fans were running, electronic music was playing in the seating area & pop music in the kitchen - very confusing). But we would still eat here again at any time.View more

Genuinely impressed by this place! I entered thinking it's another pasta place. Ordered my rose chicken pasta w/extra sauce. My traumas from other pasta places told me that this is going to be mediocre or above average at best & lord behold it's one of the best pasta I've tasted! The portions are huge! The taste slaps! & the chicken is so juicy! Just give this place a try & thank me later! I'm definitely coming back to this place every time I'm in Montreal!View more

J'ai commandé sur uber & honnêtement impressionné ♡ de belles portions (se qui se fait rare) la sauce rosée es délicieuse jai commandé les 2 pour 1 & il ne manquait rien & c'est rare sur uber tout était parfait & délicieux. Si javais un petit bémol à dire se sont les petits pains à l'ail je trouve que les epices sur le dessus c'est trop sec sous la dent & il devrait etre plus beurré pour avoir une expérience plus gourmandes. Mais honnêtement c'était délicieux. Je vais définitivement recommander :) merci pour les spéciaux sur uber c'est se qui m'a donné envie de découvrir le restaurant !View more

Tasty pasta with a choice of gluten free noodles. I am not sure about how great the risk of cross contamination was as I felt rushed & it was late. I had the rose sauce & it was creamy & seasoned well. Veggies were a bit sparse. Pizza options looked yummy, although we didn't try. The doorway into the place was a bit confusing, although staff were quick to point out where the entrance was when we entered the wrong door. Service was okay, although not friendly & welcoming. Leur poutine est bonne, frites croustillantes, la sauce est ok. MENU Vous pouvez personnaliser votre propre hamburger & votre propre poutine donc c'est une option très intéressante !! Menu VARIÉ !!! Burgers, poutines, pâtes, salades, pizza ! SERVICE 10/10 !!! Service parfait!! Ils sont courtois, patients, efficaces, souriants. Service à la table lorsque vous mangez sur place. Ils ont oublié le bacon dans mon burger & ils m'ont offert un tiramisu gratuit pour corriger leur erreur. On ne voit pas ça partout. Les pâtes étaient très bonnes. J'y ai rajouté des crevettes pour augmenter l'apport en protéines. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le repas, c'était ce dont j'avais envie de manger. Toutefois, il ne faut pas s'attendre à un repas italien authentique ! La salade César était généreuse en terme de portion, mais la sauce est davantage italienne que césar, & il y a des olives & tomates dedans. Personnellement, j'ai bien aimé!View more
