El Gordo is a friendly and welcoming neighbourhood taqueria where simplicity rhymes with savoury. Come try one of our delicious tacos, offered at a very affordable price. Taco très très ordinaire Poisson - goût de poisson accentué (on a pas terminé l'assiette) Porc- sans saveur. Manque de goût ++ Bavette - correct, sans plus Salade de chou (accompagnement) : acidulée ++++ à s'en étouffer. Impossible de la manger malheureusement Entrée Calmars frit : grosse rondelle industrielle... très ordinaire. Drink : Bien Service : on doit interpeller le serveur régulièrement car il ne se présente pas à la table pour valider que nous avons tout ce qu'il faut. Nous avons demandé la carte des vins 3 X avant de finalement l'obtenir. & il a omis de nous apportez nos verres. (On a dû le redemander au bout de 10 minutes... nous sommes déçu +++ Facture de 165$ + pourboire. J'aurais préféré donner mon argent à un autre restaurateur qui aurait porté plus d'attention au client & nous aurait offert une nourriture de meilleur goût.View more

Food was mid. Nachos were overpriced in my opinion for almost no cheese & a bunch of pickled onions. Charged me 6 DOLLARS for some guacamole on the side... dehumanizing. Waitress was extremely nice though. Didn't take picture of my nachos because they weren't photo worthy either. Will not come back.View more

I went there on a very warm day to sit at a table on the terrace with two friends & we shared two dishes (nachos & quesadillas) with absolutely refreshing cocktails. We were greeted & served by a pleasant & courteous hostess who was very attentive to our needs & caring. I recommend this place.View more

I have had mexican food for over two years now & I have never seen a restaurant serving two tacos per plate. The cheese in the nachos wasn't melted & had a very weird taste to it. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl & I was surprised to find that the rice was not very good. Overall, I wouldn't say this is one of the best mexican joints to have food. The servers forgot giving us water although multiple requests were made. However, the atmosphere is very nice.View more
