via LibroAuthentic Mexican food in a chill environment. It's a very small restaurant so do reserve. The things to improve are the Pastor tacos - they were terrible. The winners were the fish & the shrimp & chorizo tacos (delish!). The only thing that is a real annoyance is the music, it is very loud. Couple that with the extremely high ceiling & it's virtually impossible to hear what others are saying. That's enough to make me rethink going back.

Serieusement?
42$ pour une aussi petite portion? Il est ecrit fajitas to share & je suis encore sur ma faim... Dommage c'était quand même bon.
via LibroTrès bonne ambiance, service attentionné, bon cocktails mais les saveurs tombent un peu à plat dans la majorité des plats ou du moins les végétariens (nous avons pris les tacos au choux-fleurs & au champignons suite à une entrée de nachos végé). La salade el gordo par contre est excellente.

via LibroEven though it was a Monday evening, El Gordo was bustling - it was a beautiful, warm day & the atmosphere was lively & happy. We loved everything about this restaurant ....the food, the vibe, the pleasant staff. The nachos were delicious & we thanked the waitress several times for guiding us to the "small" portion that definitely was not small. Our mains (colflor taco & quesadilla) were also scrumptious. We will definitely be back.

Although, we had reservations at El Gordo, we decided to return another time...music was a little too loud & the place was quite packed.
We were welcomed by a lovely staff member who did her utmost to accommodate us but our group wanted to talk & found that it would be difficult to do so...particularly on a busy Saturday evening. I would still recommend this venue to friends.
