I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere for people who are looking for a quiet place. This restaurant is a busy happening place to be. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, & the food was soooo good. Our waiter knew his menus inside out, so when we forgot the ingredients of our cocktails & were curious, he didn't need to bring us the menu again (although he still did later LOL), he seemed genuinely happy to describe our drinks to us, not just the ingredients but even how the bartender mixed it up. Reserve in advance or you won't get a table inside, it's that busy (which is a good sign).
Très belle ambiance, beau décor! Il faut aimé le bruit, difficile de s'entendre. Le service était rapide & sympathique! Nous étions trois amies & nous avons été les trois déçus de la qualité de la nourriture & du manque de saveur. Le porc dans mes tacos était caoutchouteux, le bol burrito sans saveur & les churros étaient secs.Nous sommes peut être tomber sur une mauvaise soirée! Malheureusement je n'ai pas aimé la nourriture, dommage! Les goûts sont dans la nature comme on dit ;)
Je recommande cet endroit! L'ambiance y est festifs, la nourriture est vraiment très excellente, ont c'est régaler!!! Les plats sont plein, ont en a pour notre argent.
Après avoir reçu plusieurs commentaires positifs on a décidé d'aller souper un mercredi soir au El Grodo. Nous avions réservé pour 18h. À 18h55, on était déjà revenu chez nous malgré qu'on avait pris le menu découverte 3 services. Généralement, on trouve que le service dans les restaurants est plutôt long mais là c'est complètement l'inverse. Beaucoup trop rapide! On avait à peine le temps de terminer un service que le 2e arrivait. Aucune pause entre les services. Les serveurs étaient courtois & sympathiques & la nourriture très bonne mais payer 150 $ pour avoir mangé en 45 minutes c'est plutôt ordinaire. De plus, les tables sont très collées. On a même reçu notre Margarita qui était inclut dans le menu découverte 5 minutes après avoir eu notre premier Margarita qu'on avait commandé en arrivant. Au moins, ils l'ont retourné & nous l'ont rapporté plus tard. Donc pour notre part, manger en couple pour ce prix & en si peu de temps ça nous donne pas le goût d'y retourner.
Délicieux! Vraiment, la soupe de tortillas était aussi bonne qu'à notre petit resto préféré au Mexique. Les tacos succulents. Seul bémol, l'endroit est extrêmement bruyant. Peut-être qu'installer du traitement acoustique serait une bonne idée :)
