Wonderful place for breakfast! It was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel downtown. Our server was so pleasant, kind & very welcoming. I got an egg platter with pancakes, potatoes & sausage. It was totally delicious!!! Definitely recommend as a spot to come & eat at
Stopped here for a bite to eat with my family while on vacation. It was a great spot for a good quality lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly & tasted great. They "loved it" & I too enjoyed the meal. Great staff, great food. I had the chicken & waffles & I can say the sauce they give with it is absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend this place & the chicken & waffles.

Service was great. Food was bad. Potatoes had a fish after taste. The sausages are half the size of a normal sausage. Had the American breakfast. Do not recommend.
I don't recommend the Montreal Benny but my husband's chicken sandwich & waffle fries were amazing. Best waffle fries I've ever had. Service was quick & servers were pleasant
First timer: very nice experience & the waiter was friendly as well. It was 3 of us & 2 ordered the strawberry French toast & 1 ordered a fruit bowl & a smoothie. Also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes The French toast was amazing, very filling, strawberries were great. I definitely recommend this breakfast dish. 10/10 Breakfast potatoes: were 10/10 definitely seasoned nicely & paired well with the ketchup. I would recommend this place. Enjoy 😊
Visiting Montreal, my friend & I breakfasted at Eggspectation. We sat outside, where a nice breeze added to the comfort of the setting. My friend ordered a Bene-Ducked & I ordered a Veggie Omelet work a toasted buttered Bagel on the side. The duck in the Bene-Ducked was well- prepared & flavorful. The Veggie Omelet was tasty as well. Originally hailing from NY, I was looking forward to a Montreal Bagel & I was not disappointed. The sesame bagel was nicely toasted & quite delicious. My friend really liked his Iced Cappuccino & I had a nice Oat Milk. Service was excellent, as our server was responsive without being intrusive. Eggspectation is a nice place to grab breakfast, especially if you like Eggs Benedict dishes. I heartily recommend it.
I love this restaurant. I visit from NY/PA around 5-6 times a year. I make sure I eat brunch every single day I am in Montreal. The food is amazing. The restaurant is spotless. The service is perfect. I especially adore Nikitas. He actually knows my order whenever I am there. He will see me & immediately get my beverages (diet soda & a glass of wine). We then chat a bit while my order is being prepared. He knows all his customers & truly enjoys his job. It is so refreshing. He makes you feel like family. The entire staff makes sure each guest is cared for & happy. I have been visiting Montreal for over 20 years & have been to many restaurants in the area. I can honestly say that this place is THE BEST for breakfast, brunch, & lunch/early dinner. The menu never disappoints. The staff is incredible. The entire experience is wonderful. I have never been let down by this restaurant. I absolutely recommend it to tourist & locals. It is a gem.

Not my first time going to an eggspectation, but this morning was particularly special. First of all, the avocado toast benedict was excellent & the service was very quick. Second, the waitress Noah & the bartender Anna were incredible. It was pretty cool to meet some fellow martimers in Montreal! I definitely recommend this place...easy, great service, friendly staff...never disappoints.
We love this place! Best breakfast in the city with so many choices. Food is fresh, hot, & service is impeccable. Recommend the Classic & Crab Benedict's, French toast flambé, Eggstravganza, & their salads. Can't go wrong with any of it. Large portions, fresh coffee with constant refills, great mimosas, & spicy Bloody Mary's-they have it. Large parties handled with ease & food coming out of the kitchen is fast. From the hostess at the front door to the wait staff, very impressed. Nikita, our waiter is the best!
je recommande pour un Brunch c'est ce qu'en tout cas ce que je prends tout est bon & surtout le jus GREEN LIGHT très frais & léger. le service est excellent, très serviable & rapide surtout quand on a faim.

Je me suis rendu un mardi matin lors de mes vacances à Montréal dans ce restaurant. J'avais déjà repéré leur carte qui compilait des classiques avec des touches d'originalité . Ma cible : leurs pancakes salés. Le service était très qualitatif, rapide, les serveurs sympathiques & le restaurant calme. Vous pouvez voir à la photo il y a de quoi manger ! & je suis un grand estomac ! Toutes les saveurs étaient présentes dans ce plat : le bacon, les pancakes, l'oeuf , les saucisses. C'était un très bon plat ! Aussi beau que bon ✨ je recommande ! 5/5
Nikitas provided the best service experience of our entire Montreal visit. After one visit, he memorized our entire order, including allergy concerns & add-ons! The second day we came for breakfast, we didn't have to say a word, he remembered it all. He was also on top of coffee refills & making sure we were happy with our food. All the food was delicious. I had the Eggspectation Omelette & it was amazing. I highly recommend that you visit, & ask for Nikitas!
Nous sommes allés manger au restaurant eggspectation du complexe Desjardins le 6 octobre 2014. Nous étions 4 amis & nous retrouvions là-bas. Lors de l'arrivé du premier de notre groupe, tout c'est bien passé, par contre, lorsque les autres sont arrivés, ils ont du chercher pendant quelques temps pour trouver la première personne, car les niveau des étages ne sont pas idéal pour cela, de plus qu'il n'y avait personne pour nous aider a l'entrée. Par la suite, lorsque tout le monde est arrivés, le serveur est venu prendre les commandes de boissons & ce n'est que 20 minutes plus tard que nous avons eus nos boissons. Il est donc a noter que c'est un restaurant très achalandé & que l'attente est donc longue, ce n'est donc pas recommandé pour un petit déjeuner vite fait. Nous précisons également que le restaurant est très bruyant, le fait qu'il soit a air ouverte & sur deux étages permet au bruit de circuler & d'être amplifier. Tout de même, nous avons relativement bien mangés & comprenons que l'achalandage du centre-ville est de façon général ce qui explique ce qui nous a le plus déçus.
