Had brunch at Eggspectation & it was delicious. I ordered the Eggs Benedict & it was really well done-the eggs were perfectly poached & the hollandaise sauce was rich & flavorful. Portion size was solid, & the service was quick & friendly. Great spot for a satisfying brunch. I'd definitely come back.View more

My boyfriend & I enjoyed breakfast here two days in a row. Very nice atmosphere. Both got eggs been, I the salmon & he the smoked meats. Delicious. Best home fries ever.. Even tried friend toast. So good. 10/10.View more

Wonderful place for breakfast! It was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel downtown. Our server was so pleasant, kind & very welcoming. I got an egg platter with pancakes, potatoes & sausage. It was totally delicious!!! Definitely recommend as a spot to come & eat atView more

Such a good breakfast & brunch spot. The setup is a bit more elegant, posh than I expected but the food is really good. I almost want to say it's like a home cooked meal but it does have a touch of like premium or gourmet to the dishes. I got the Eggstravaganza out whatever. Basically it was 2 pancakes, potatoe slices & eggs (I subbed the pork for an extra egg). Came to CAD 30 which was ridiculously overpriced but it was a really good meal. Best for a nice date or business meeting. Or friends brunch or a nice treat yoself type of deal.View more

Visiting Montreal, my friend & I breakfasted at Eggspectation. We sat outside, where a nice breeze added to the comfort of the setting. My friend ordered a Bene-Ducked & I ordered a Veggie Omelet work a toasted buttered Bagel on the side. The duck in the Bene-Ducked was well- prepared & flavorful. The Veggie Omelet was tasty as well. Originally hailing from NY, I was looking forward to a Montreal Bagel & I was not disappointed. The sesame bagel was nicely toasted & quite delicious. My friend really liked his Iced Cappuccino & I had a nice Oat Milk. Service was excellent, as our server was responsive without being intrusive. Eggspectation is a nice place to grab breakfast, especially if you like Eggs Benedict dishes. I heartily recommend it.View more

Whoever graded this place below 5, should have their head examined. Our server was an 10. Our food a 10. My wife had the Eggs Benedict Classic. I has the big breakfast with French Toast made from Brioche bread. If in doubt. Go. You won't be sorry.View more

A party of 3 with 2 people addicted to egg benedict, so it made sense to come the the closest location to have our breakfast: lobster Benedict, crab cake Benedict with me liking plain eggs.
The surprise was the watermellon slices, which was a great touch after having eggs. & thanks to our waiter, an Oriental guy (secretly I wished him to be our waiters as the others seem not to be bothered much) who paid attention to everything: how I like my bread etc. You might think: why be fussy? Well, otherwise I cannot eat or small things done not the way I like them simply make me physically sick.
This place is beautifully decorated, even the bathrooms are amazing & is located in a great area: as we returned around lunch time we noticed how busy & 'crazy' this are became all of a sudden. At night it might be madness.View more

The food tasted amazing & priced appropriately too. No pressure to leave & we took our time to enjoy the omelets. Had the Montreal omelette & it came with potatoes & watermelon & pineapple. The best potatos by far I've had at a diner style restaurant. Eggs were delicious too! Naturally the vibe was on point with stairs taking you to the second level.
