I used to come to this cafe ALL THE TIME. I've spent hundreds here. I bought a bottle of beer & two pastries to go for 25$ before I left I asked for two paper cups & the guy charges me $1 for two paper cups lmao dude you just lost a customer forever. The amount it costs the business to process the Apple Pay transaction doesn't even make it worth it. I had so much love & respect for this place. Never coming back

What an incredible experience at Edmond Café Cantine!

During my visit to Montreal, I stopped in for lunch & was absolutely blown away. I ordered the frittata, & I can honestly say it was unlike any frittata I've ever had before. The flavors, texture, & attention to detail were simply outstanding. It was one of those meals that makes you stop & appreciate just how good food can be.

What impressed me even more was that the excellence extended far beyond the food itself. The service was warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming. Every aspect of the experience reflected a team that truly cares about what they do & takes great pride in the quality of what they serve.

In a world where so many places cut corners, Edmond Café Cantine stands out for its commitment to exceptional food, thoughtful service, & an overall experience that feels crafted with care.

I wish the entire team continued success. If my meal was any indication, it's very well deserved. I will absolutely return the next time I'm in Montreal.

Utterly disappointed. This café had been on the list to try, had originally planned to dine in, but after experiencing a cold & slightly rude attitude from the staff, I decided to ask for everything to go.

The latté was overwhelmingly milky with barely any coffee flavour, nothing memorable. The vegetarian sandwich was among the worst I've ever had. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt distinctly unwelcoming, almost as though they cater to a niche white folks only clientele.
