Myer Dunn founded Dunn's Famous Restaurant in 1927. Due to my grandfather's unique recipes and high quality standards, Dunn's Famous quickly became a local institution for Montrealers and visitors alike.

Food was so delicious!! Serving size you won't be disappointed. Service was a bit slow but once we were looked after our server was kind & took care of us. The Smoked Meat was amazing!!!!
The smoked meat was so delicious. The waitress recommended the medium fat vs the lean. I was so glad because it tasted very good. It was moist & flavourful. We liked it alot more than Schwartz's. Yes, it is more expensive but the portions are much bigger. I had the small combo & could only eat half of it. The coleslaw was very tasty. The fries were good. The service was friendly. We are definitely coming back here.

Walked in middle of the afternoon, on a Sunday's afternoon about 10 out of 40 tablespoon have customers, service was nowhere to be seen, after 10 minutes of waiting for service we walked out
One of the few restaurants where I can eat with my restrictive diet & not feel like I'm wasting money on half of my plates worth of food. Service is always perfect, really like my usual guy.

This eatery is one of the few opened late nights. This place is known for smoke meat & hamburgers. Great for families with kids & friendly gatherings. Not a place I would take anyone to impress on a date... but a dependable place if you need to find a place to go out late at night.
