The restaurant is a little kitch & has seen better days. Some door in the restrooms maintained on one hinge, stairs blackened by spots in the stone, a little decrepit here & there. Overall relatively clean.

The room dispatcher & the waitress efficient & nice.

The food, for us a Hot Chicken & a Rubens, is average. I was disappointed as I expected a quality similar to Swartz or Ruben's on Ste Catherine. The bread was hard & dry on the contour & the meat (semi-fat) was a little dry too, & average in taste for the Rubens. The hot chicken was ok, for my friend. The plate were generous.

J'ai pris l'assiette smokemeat , la viande était ok, pas la meilleure que j'ai mangé, mais c'était ok. Les frites eux étaient vraiment pas mangeable, sec & sans saveur.A noter , le service était vraiment a la hauteur. Hum j'avais mieux en mémoire de ce restaurant.

Service was quick, & our food came out fast. The latkes were delicious, & the poutine was honestly one of the best we've ever had. The smoked meat was good, although it was a little on the dry side.

The only downside was that one of the servers (not the one who took our order) came by several times asking if we were finished so they could clear our plates. It made us feel a bit rushed while we were still enjoying our meal.

Overall, the food was very good, & we'd definitely consider coming back.
