Initially I went for the smoked meat but the waitress didn't want to accommodate my need so no choice to take something else. Indeed, I asked to have only the smoked meat by the Lb in a plate without bread, fries etc but the waitress didn't accept & didn't even try to propose an alternative. She said that you could get Smoked meat by the Lb as it was only for takeout but not dine-in which is absolutely ridiculous & doesn't make sense. I took the hot dog which was 100% beef & a cheap option considering that I removed the bread & didn't touch the fries. Overall, nothing special & nothing wow so I don't think I will ever come back to this spot. This is also the reason why I didn't take any pictures or videos, not really worth the time.
For someone interested in their Smoked Meat, I don't really recommend the place since their menu is not flexible at all.View more
I had lunch at Dunn's Famous & I really enjoyed my meal, I took the "Super Combo Smoked Meat" & it was delicious! The staff were friendly & the service was quick to get our meal. Very clean & organized, great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for great smoked meat.View more

I enjoyed Dunns 50 years ago when Myer Dunn would stand outside the restaurant on St. Catherine's street & invite the bar crowd to stop in for coffee & cheesecake. Now we go to Dunns on St Martin in Laval. Myer is long past, but the smoked meat is every bit as good as ever. My go to meals is a large sandwich, medium fat, cole slaw, fries, black cherry soda, & of course... World famous strawberry cheesecake! For sure, a meal to be ordered rarely with a nod to the waistline. For me, Dunns sandwich & cheesecake is Montreal! Highly recommend.View more

la nourriture est bonne mais, elle est gâcher par le service. le serveur qu'on as eu en y allant était bête & limite méchant. quand était arriver le temps de payer, ils nous regardais rentré notre nip sur la machine & quand on laissait un pourboire qui ne semblait pas être à son gout il nous laissait des commentaire très insultant. malheureusement si c'est comme ça que les serveurs traite leurs clients, je n'y retournerais pas.View more
This place is my favourite smoke meat place because they have branches everywhere their prices are convenient. Smoke meat taste great & they have options of lean meat or medium. Also they have other options for people that doesn't want to eat meat. & it is not crowded, so you can enjoy eating without rushing it in ;)View more
