Overall, Duke & Devine's Pub Irlandais comes across as a cozy neighborhood pub with a welcoming vibe, a strong beer selection on tap including local, Canadian, German, and American options, and a menu that many reviewers find solid to excellent with favorites like burgers, fish and chips, and brisket sandwiches, plus occasional standout items such as a lobster crab shrimp roll. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as friendly and cozy, with a nice terrace for outdoor dining and lively live music on weekends that rounds out the experience. Service is praised for being attentive and efficient on most visits, and the staff is often noted for going above and beyond, with experiences hosting private parties deemed flawless and staff described as outstanding. A few reviews raise concerns about price or consistency, noting overpriced or over processed dishes and occasional service hiccups such as early closing, but even these comments acknowledge the overall quality and the good energy that keeps people coming back for more.
The food was so good, Irish Nachos were the best Irish no his I have ever had.
But there's more, the service was exceptional.
If you have thought about going here…..STOP thinking & GO.
We were served by a very nice waitress by the name of Taryn, who suggested some amazing food fair. We tried the soup of the day, which was a Cheddar Bacon & Jalapeno, & it was so delicious 😋. We also had the Fish & Chips that hit the OMG spot & the Brisket sandwich. It was a spirited dinner out & a guaranteed return & assured patronage to this pub. Bravo to all here 👏 & thank you.
I dined at this pub for the first time this past Saturday & I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food was excellent. I had the Caesar salad while my friend had one of the burgers, & we finished with the brownie for dessert. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria, which was visually pleasing & delicious! The service was also fantastic & our server was very friendly. As luck would have it, the power went out due to weather conditions, but that didn't stop us from having a nice evening. The musician present that evening, Jeffrey Waters, lifted everyone's spirits as we sang along with him. The next day, one of the owners, Cary, sent me a kind message following up & apologizing for the inconvenience the power outage caused. While I didn't see any reason to apologize, it was still a lovely sentiment. All this to say, I will be coming back 😊
