Drogheria Fine is a unique "street gnocchi" spot where you order from a window & either eat outside or take your food to go. The concept is cool, the portions are generous, & the service is quick & friendly-all for under $10. It's easy to see why this is such a popular spot for visitors or anyone looking for a quick, affordable lunch. That said, while the value & experience are great, the gnocchi & sauce were just okay-nothing particularly special. The sauce reminded me of something slightly better than Chef Boyardee, so it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Still, for the price & speed, it's worth a stop. Was on a mission to eat a fairmont bagel next door, & couldn't help resist smelling the fresh tomato gnocchi! So brought a box aswell with extra cheese & chilli... What can I say - awesome! Dipped the sesame seed bagel into the sauce & it's a perfect treat for a cold night! Great find :)Voir plus

The sauce here is so good! Add red pepper for some nice spice. There are benches nearby to eat on. By default you'll get chopsticks to eat with. Really nice spot that doesn't have a bunch of variety, but does what they do VERY wellVoir plus

I think the concept of this place is really cool. Price is very low 5-7$ for a small bucket of gnocci. Something fun to do in montreal, service was fast & friendly. Is it worth the hype? Maybe for the experience, why not it's only 5-7$. The gnocci itself was not amazing, to be honest it was very below average.Voir plus

This is my favorite Italian Gnocchi place. I'm a big fan. Bring your own fork/spoon. They charge $0.30 for a fork, however they offer free chopsticks. Either pay with cash or Canadian Debit. Something to note is Canadian Debit means any card with an Interac logo on it. CREDIT CARDS are NOT Accepted.American debit cards or prepaid cash cards are often AMEX, Visa or Mastercard ONLY & are not acceptable here. There is an ATM available right nextdoors or a quick 5min walk to the nearest Scotia Bank Branch. I always get extra cheese with extra extra extra spiceVoir plus

Knew about this place from its hype online but actually just stumbled past it unintentionally as it's located near lots of other popular eats! Simply cheap & tasty. It is a bit plain & the sauce kind of reminds me of Chef Boyardee, but it was delicious nonetheless. After all it's only 6$ (cheese is 1$ extra).Voir plus
