I visited this dosa place & absolutely loved it! The dosas were crisp, perfectly golden, & filled with flavorful masala. The chutneys & sambar were fresh & authentic-just like homemade! The staff was polite & quick with service .If you're craving South Indian food, this is definitely a must-try spot. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves South Indian food!
I shop at Marché de l'Ouest regularly, but somehow I always overlooked this gem of a dosa spot & I deeply regret not trying it sooner. Hands down, this is the BEST dosa I've had in Montreal. Since my first visit, I've been coming back every week. The flavor, the freshness, the crispiness… it's all unmatched. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable, making it an easy favorite. I can't recommend this place enough!

Visited again & everything was perfect, service was on time & food was good.
2024: We ordered food & tea. Ended up waiting for 45 mins for tea, reminded them twice. The first time, they forgot. The second time, they couldn't find us when we were sitting at the exact table where they delivered our order twice. When asked him how long it would take? They said 1 min & asked the exact time, & they said 10 mins. Average food & bad customer service.
Our first time at this dosa takeout... A friend recommended this place & didn't disappoint.. will be a returning customer.. brought it home to eat & it was still fresh..

This place was amazing!! Some of the best dosas I have ever had. They are huge, well seasoned, light, not greasy, & just delicious! I had the mysore masala dosa, the ghee podi dosa, paneer masala dosa, & a plain. The ghee podi & mysore masala were my favorites. Just so so delicious. The spice in the masala dosas was perfect. I am not Indian, but do like good spice, but not burn my mouth type. This was flavor+heat & it was so delicious. They ran out of sambar, & so the manager or owner or whatever his role was, the man in charge in any case, was so gracious as to come out & offer me anything else to go with. He gave me butter chicken & it was some of the smoothest & most flavorful I have had. & two basil seed soda drinks too! Wonderful service. The shop is a stall in the Marché Ouest, so it's not fancy, but there is seating, although we took ours to go. We liked having to walk in through the plants & flowers to discover the eateries! & the price was sooo reasonable. Each dosa is a meal!
The food was really amazing, & rich in flavours. I would like recommended to everyone who loves South Indian food, & I'm from Toronto travelling by & we really enjoyed the dosa. &, I can say it for sure that every other South Indian places I've been, this one has one of the best food ever. MUST RECOMMEND!!!
I tried the Chicken Kheema Dosa & the Cheese Karam Dosa. Both were delicious & super crispy!
The chicken kheema filling was packed with flavor & had just the right amount of spice.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Cheese Karam Dosa too. I was worried it would just be paneer disguised as cheese but no, it was real melted cheese!
I also tried Podi Idli for the first time, & it was amazing! The ghee flavor really stood out!. All dishes came with sambar & two types of chutney. The store is simply a counter+kitchen inside a shared food court/market area, so don't expect a full-service restaurant. Seating is communal, but the staff bring your order to your table once it's ready.
Definitely eat your dosa on the spot to really enjoy the crispiness of the dosas!
