Don't go by the 1-star reviews posted against this restaurant. I'm a hyderabadi who always craved for tasty South Indian breakfast in Montreal. I'm not someone who prefers Dosa takeouts but I've always loved their dosas, the taste is great, & their service is more than respectful. I never dined there, so I can't really speak for how they treat the guests but it's been great for me. I do at least one take out each week, & I absolutely love what they make.

Hands down the best dosa place in Montreal. Every single detail is on point. The idly & vada were soft, not dry at all. The chutneys & sambar were perfectly seasoned, & the portions were generous. As for the dosa, I had the paneer masala one, & the filling was life-changing. I also liked that the dosa was crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. They make a great mango lassi as well. The whole for a super reasonable price!

So happy that finally West Island has nice dosa place. All waitresses were kind & informative. Food was delicious. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant. Price is reasonable for food.

Absolutely loved my experience at Dosa Express! The dosa was perfectly crispy, fresh, & bursting with authentic flavor. The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. It was truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the best places for authentic dosas-I highly recommend it.

Limited menu & quick service.
Karivepaaku podi dosa/ Idly both are must try.
Karam dosa is too good.
Mango Lassi is good but need more think consistency.
