The pork belly (chashu don) was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it. The pancake is top notch. Tonkatsu curry was good but the curry flavourless. The Katsu itself was awesome
Quite authentic to restaurants you'd find in Japan! I definitely recommend trying the popcorn chicken. It has a unique sweet flavor & it's so addictive. Their specialty drinks are also very nice & worth trying! Prices are very reasonable as well.
Best japanese restaurant I've been so far. Great, friendly service, amazing food & cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely recommend the Miso Cucumber, it was truly amazing. The Tonkatsu & Citrus Chicken are also very very delicious. Great Place!!
We found a hidden restaurant close to Concordia library. We ordered Yaki Don & Fried chicken which were both fresh & tasty. The food was served hot & fresh. Recommend this local place!
Great place! I would definitely recommend the curry torikatsu & yam fries. Very tasty, good portions, & felt fresh. Loved that the menu included photos. Nice atmosphere & the service was great. Would come again !!
Cute little well designed spot. The food isnt super special but for the price & the kind staff id say its definitely worth a visit. I'd definitely recommend this place!
Super petit restaurant: Bonne nourriture (tout ce qu'on a goûter était vraiment délicieux) Service efficace & personnel accueillant La salle est un peu petite (pas sûr d'avoir une place) mais très bien décoré J'ai adoré le format du menu, illustré avec des Polaroïd (moi qui aime avoir un visuel du plat avant de commander, j'ai trouvé ça super & original)! Je ne peut que recommander !!
Bonne place pour manger des plats originaux, & la carte est quand même variée. La place est très petite donc il est recommandé de manger à emporter. J'ai pu manger sur place lors de ma visite, mais les sièges ne sont vraiment pas comfortable
This is my favorite store in Montreal! Beverages are even better than milk tea shops! Highly recommend curry tonkatsu!The store manager & employees are so nice! A store worth visiting! 10/10 lovely restaurant

Just wow, the food, the service, the place. Would absolutely recommend to everyone I know, had such a great time, the food was so tasty, I felt like I was travelling to Asia for a while ✨ Thanks!
The chicken curry was really good! Really nice little Japanese place & the setting & decorations feel very authentic Japanese. The waitresses were lovely, super sweet & helpful. Will be back for sure! Edit : having returned, I HIGHLY recommend the chicken Torikatsu, it was so delicious & crispy.
Tastes just like the food I had in japanese last year, the bowls are delicious & the quality is impeccable. Would recommend if you want a taste of Japan in downtown Montreal :)

the food was really good but the space is really small. the staff was very nice & the service was pretty quick. i definitely recommend the Tonkatsu bowl & the burger steak one!!
Fantastic food, hearty portions at a very low price especially post inflation. Had the Tonkatsu Don, sauce was savoury & sweet, & the meat was very crispy & moist. The rice was perfect with nice coleslaw & sweet corn. Dessert was also great. Service was great & food came out very fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a full cheap meal of quality food.
The people that work here are sooooo friendly & kind, the service is pretty quick & the food is amazing! This place is also so cozy & really nicely decorated. I would recommend this place to everyone I know! Such a hidden gem
Stopped by this place for lunch & loved it. It has a nice intimate vibe with some nice decor. The menu is a nice little book with a lot of authentic Japanese menu items along with pictures. We got some gyoza, curry torikatsu & the regular torikatsu. The meat, rice, & vegetables blended so well together. I did prefer the meat of the regular torikatsu more than the curry one but it was close. It was also at a good price point. Highly recommend this place over a chain type fast food joint for lunch.
