One of my favorite places to go in DT! The chashus are crispy, the Waitress is super nice & the decorations are super cute too!
If you looking for some some cozy East Asian vibed restaurant to check out: this is the one you wanna check out ✅✅
The only minor downside would be it gets really crowded around dinner time, so be prepared to wait at the door for a bit
Super cute cozy place, it was full when we got there, but friendly staff got us a table quickly. The food was delicious, quick considering the amount of people in there & reasonably priced.
Definitely recommend trying the yam fries!
One of my boyfriend & I's favorite spots for a simple & cozy dinner date. I always take the gyu don because the marinated meat is so delicious. The popcorn chicken is also a must.
Their meals are very consistent & the service is always so friendly! (Which is exactly why I never hesitate to come back :)) Keep up the good work!
Very cozy warm restaurant. Tiny little place with friendly service & spectacular food, highly recommend. Experience #1 Best!
Super yummy, great atmosphere, & kind workers! I especially recommend the tonkatsu & curry katsu. It's unpretentious & cozy, a perfect spot for lunch with a friend, or on your own.
Only thing is that I could see clean freaks being a little put-off by this place, as the more eccentric decor lended itself to accumulating quite a bit of dust, especially by the window. It never bothered me, though, since the food is spectacular.
Cozy little restaurant with few tables, so avoiding peak hours is recommended. The food was delicious! Everything we tried tasted great. I had tonkatsu, the savory pancake, & popcorn chicken (served fresh, so beware! It's hot). All four of us agreed that we enjoyed our food. Highly recommend.
This place is AMAZING! I went 3 times when in Montreal & stayed at UofM, everything on the menu was delicious in every aspect. Super crispy tonkatsu, flavorful curry, juicy meat, all the way down to lovely sauces & dressings. If you're in the area you have to go here for a great bite & an amazing atmosphere. The interior is cozy & well decorated with great service every time. Un-fussy place that is never lacking.
This small Asian fusion spot truly impressed me. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is warm & attentive, & every dish was bursting with flavor. You can tell they put care into every detail - from presentation to taste. The portions were generous, & the menu had a great mix of creative fusion options & comforting classics. Absolutely worth a visit, & I'll definitely be coming back!
Great place. Nice & cozy. The food was delicious & service was great!
It is a small place, but the food is really good! Everything was fresh & tasty, with great portion sizes. The menu has a nice variety of Japanese dishes, & the service was friendly. It's a cozy spot in downtown Montreal worth checking out. Just keep in mind it can get busy, so there might be a bit of a wait time during rush hours.
5 out of 5 will eat again(what, I won't tell you) . On a serious note, I loved the place very cute & cozy. The food was delicious, I recommend the Japanese dry curry😉.
Wow, just wow! THE BEST OKONOMIYAKI YOU CAN HAVE IN MONTREAL! like no cap! It's the best tonkatsu I have eaten as well outside of Japan! Would 100% recommend. The place is small though but it's really freaking cozy & cool!
SO COZY perfect for students needing a affordable home cooked meal with a nice atmosphere, not empty or loud
I got the pork cutlet with sweet & sour japanese sauce, with the curry on the side as per the waitresses recommendation as I couldn't decide. Definitely the best choice as I love the cutlet with just the S&S sauce alone. Now the cutlet was perfect, perfect crunch, perfect taste. & the fact that the place is small, makes the ambiance cozy & easier for the waitress to serve us. I loved it
