Review Summary

District Bagel is described as a place with high quality bagels and food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Reviewers note a convenient walkable location and in some cases bilingual staff at the till. Menu examples include salmon bagels with generous cream cheese and a mix of classic and new variations, with many finding it easy to grab something on the go. Positive experiences highlight fast service, clean space, and cozy decor, and some call it the best food in town. But opinions vary on bagel size and texture, with some feeling bagels are smaller or have supermarket texture. Occasional downsides include limited parking, possible lines at checkout, hours or closures that seem random, and difficulty reaching the shop by phone. Some customers reported order issues such as cancellations or delays, and there was a note about inconsistent responses to emails. Overall, District Bagel is viewed as a solid bagel shop with good food and service, though experiences differ and a few operational aspects could be improved.

Tasty muffins & bagels. The breakfast plate was not great, but the shakshuka was tasty. it's a good option for people with kids. Friendly service.

Great breakfast & brunch place in Montreal. Small place but a nice concept. Bagel & choices of how you want your eggs with salad & a coffee. Had the Greek omelet & it was amazingly tasty. It also has its own brand juices. It is mainly self serve for coffee & freshly squeeze orange juice. The only small issue & very minute. They are so busy that to get a clean table might take time but the table is wood shellac so a quick wipe & you are fine ( plenty of napkins). Plenty of fresh pastries to your liking as well.

Don't know why this place has so many positive reviews. Overpriced breakfast menus that result in small plates, including an "Israeli salad" consisting of only chopped cucumbers & tomatos. One of my sunny side up eggs was served broken, & no one seemed to care. The bagels were nice though. Still, for the same price I could fetch considerably larger & better quality breakfast plate at some mainstream chains.

Staff was extremely kind & patient while taking our order. They were great with the kids & even gave them a gift!! The food was clean & delicious. Definitely a great breakfast/ lunch spot. So happy I got a chance to eat here.

The perfect place for breakfast or to just buy some pastry or bagels to take home. The only restaurant I have been to that has a machine that squeezes oranges to make orange juice so you know it is fresh & the real thing. I took a picture of the machine. They have parking in the front & at the side of the building.
