I love this place. It is cozy & the staff is great. Food is so tasty, you can tell everything is made from scratch. It somehow feels perfect for both a romantic date or a group dinner.
I frequently visit this restaurant, but this time I had a very disappointing experience with the hostess. I had booked a table for two, but she insisted on seating us at the bar. She refused to check the reservation system, claiming there were no available tables, even though I showed her my confirmed reservation. Eventually, the manager realized the mistake & seated us at a nice table. However, the hostess later approached our table & informed us that we only had two hours for dining. Her behavior was very rude & disrespectful, which is unacceptable for someone in her position. Despite this unpleasant encounter, I still appreciate the nice atmosphere, food, & the other staff members.
Comme nous habitons dans le Vieux-Montréal, c'est notre restaurant de prédilection. Fred (le gérant) a toujours une place pour nous. Mike le gérant du bar, fait les meilleurs cocktails! La nourriture est géniale! Lorsque vous êtes dans le coin, n'hésitez pas à les essayer!
My husband & I visited Marcella on 11/3/24 to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The food was amazing! The owner ( I think) went above & beyond checking in to make sure every thing was ok. He even gave us a round of amereto & toasted with us! We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is adorable. The atmosphere very cozy. Best ceasar salad I ever had best veal chop I ever. Best lemon cello dessert with pistachio, whip cream I ever had. This place has fantastic food. Great, friendly service . Can't wait to come back to Montreal to go there again. If I could give it six stars I would.

Our meal was delicious, our drinks were excellent, & the service was outstanding. As with most good restaurants in Montreal's old district, Dinette Marcella can get very busy & noisy. For the best experience, make reservations for an early seating.

This Italian bistro not to be missed! Wide selection of lunch & dinner choices.High energy at night. Staff is really fun . Chef Max stopped by our table. He made us feel so welcome, joking with guests & wait staff. Marcella was a highlight of our visit.
Amazing service, made my husband a cocktail that wasn't even on the menu & it was perfect! We had the tortellini & it was truly incredible. We were just visiting Montreal, but we WILL be back, for that tortellini alone ;)
Atmosphere is beautiful & cozy, food was really good, i ordered the tortellini, the flavor was great but the portion was a bit small for the price, & the I ordered the limonata mocktail, it was good but not worth 13$
