Dominic "Dick" Potenza was born in West Virginia and grew up in Utica, New York. He became well known in the Rochester - Buffalo area during the 40’s as a head-waiter in the supper-club type restaurants of the era. It was at one of these supper-clubs that he met his future wife, jazz accordionist Ann Collecchia, who performed using the stage name of Ann Russell. Together, they envisioned a fast food restaurant that would serve an original style hamburger with their own special sauce. After much thought, this original style hamburger took the form of a toasted bun containing a thin patty that would cook quickly. After they modified and combined two recipes that they brought with them from Rochester, Dick and Ann developed their famous hot sauce.

Nous venons de quitter le Dic Ann's de St-Jérôme & merci infiniment à Mélanie pour son accueil, son service dédié en prenant le temps de nous expliquer le menu, étant notre 1ère fois, afin de bien nous diriger dans nos choix. Qualité de la nourriture & la propreté ont dépassé nos attentes. Merci à toute la belle équipe. Les proprio sont très chanceux de t'avoir. Nous allons définitivement revenir !!

Un des services les plus rapides que j'ai vu! L'équipe est géniale, la nourriture arrive chaude & le restaurant est très propre. Probablement le meilleur Dic Ann's au Québec!
Bon ! Je dois mentionner que j'étais une adepte de Dic Ann dans les bonnes années, par contre maintenant Hou la la, Ce n'est vraiment plus ce que c'était. La sauce est fabriquée par une industrie (Sole Mio) qui ne respecte pas la recette de base . Maintenant ce n'est que du jus de tomate qui n'a rien à voir avec la sauce d'origine. Le prix ne vaut pas la qualité. Un gros dommage, mais je n'y retournerai plus c'est clair.

I've always loved Dic Ann's. It's a specialty burger place but if you like it it's a great place. They all have thier own vibe & each is cool in its way. But you go for the burgers. If you've never been I highly recommend.
