Honestly it was one of the best restaurents in Canada. We were visiting from Ottawa & Diba was the best in Montreal! Food was great! We had barg & koobideh ! Kashke bademjoon was great too. They served us homemade breads with cheese & veggies ! Wonderful! Portion of the food was good for the price. The decoration was also great! The lady who served us was very friendly & professional! Honestly, I can't complain about the quality or taste of the food. The only issue was the waitress, who initially brought us the wrong order. After five minutes, she realized the mistake & took the food from our table to serve it to the correct one. Personally, I didn't mind too much, but if I were in the other table's position, I definitely wouldn't have wanted that plate! I'd have preferred a fresh one.Voir plus

I recently visited Diba, a newly opened Iranian restaurant in Montreal, & it was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail is impressive, making the atmosphere quite pleasant. The warm fresh bread served with cheese, herbs, & walnuts as a welcome is both nostalgic & delightful. The portions are generous, & the prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. The kebabs are especially delicious, & our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Diba will definitely become a regular spot for us."Voir plus
It was my first time going there. The food is good. Comparing to other Iranian restaurants in Montreal, I like their koobideh (ground bedf skewer) the most. Barg skewer (veal) was delicious, the chicken skewer was not the best I had. So I recommend to try their Koobideh for $24 which is two skewers of ground beef kebab with rice. That's a great deal They serve you a bread made in the oven with cheese, walnuts & parsley as appetizers for free! I forgot to take a photo of that. The service was very good albeit we received items we ordered as appetizers very late as well as drinks after our main course - the portions were big although the kebabs left to be desired - very pricey for what it is & I am not a fan of the concept of the kitchen in the basement - some plates were only room temperature when received at the table unfortunately. 200$ meal is a bit much in comparison to other places I would not go back in a rush back for example Gheimeh Stew small portion very little meat in mine for 24$ is too much .Voir plus
Excellent food & service, our server Armin was attentive & friendly, providing recommendations when asked & ensuring that our glasses were never empty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best Persian restaurant in Montréal! Diba is an absolute gem. The food was simply amazing. We had Shirazi Salad, Kashk-E-Bademjan, Koobideh Kebab, & Baghali Polo, & every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The vibe of the restaurant was so warm & inviting, with all the staff being welcoming & super friendly. A special shoutout to our waiter, Armine, who was incredibly attentive & always served us with a big smile. His excellent service truly elevated our experience. I'm not Persian, but I've tried Persian cuisine in many countries & even had the privilege of dining with Persian families. Let's just say I know my way around Persian food, & Diba exceeded all my expectations. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation & will, without a doubt, be coming back. During my recent visit to this restaurant, I was immediately struck by the lack of attentive service. Upon entering, the absence of a reception area was apparent, which I believe contributed to the chaotic atmosphere. The restaurant was bustling with patrons, & all the tables were occupied. However, the lack of organization became evident as my party & I stood uncertainly, attempting to establish eye contact with staff members to guide us to an available table. Unfortunately, no one approached us to provide direction or inquire about our needs promptly. Moreover, the condition of the tables left much to be desired. The surfaces were not properly cleaned, with visible spots & stains detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite these shortcomings in service & cleanliness, the redeeming factor was undoubtedly the food. I would rate the quality of the dishes a solid seven out of 10. The flavors were enjoyable & well-prepared, offering a satisfactory culinary experience. However, it is crucial for the establishment to prioritize enhancing their service standards to match the commendable quality of their food. In conclusion, while the restaurant excels in culinary offerings, there is a definite need for improvement in service efficiency & cleanliness maintenance. Today, I visited Diba Restaurant for the first time & had a truly wonderful experience. The most remarkable aspect of this restaurant was its exceptional, professional, & courteous staff. Additionally, the spacious layout ensured we didn't feel crowded or disturb neighboring tables.
