Afficher toutbingsoo(31) cafe(29) dessert(25) cake(23) macaron(17) matcha(14) sweet(14) bingsu(13) korean(11) coffee(11) strawberry(10) cozy(8)Their macarons used to be top notch. Recently, it's either too small or the shell is too crispy. Macarons should not be like that. Their cakes used to be good as well. I don't know what happened. glad the bingsoo still tastes the same. Oh well ☹?
The space is cozy without trying too hard, making it an easy place to slow down for a bit.
We started with the honey ginger lemon tea, which was warm & genuinely comforting, especially well balanced rather than overly sweet. The matcha cake was light & fluffy, with a clean matcha flavor that didn't overwhelm. We also tried the Injeolmi & mochi macaron & the chocolate macaron, both well made & satisfying, with textures that worked nicely together.
There's a sense of care in both the menu & the atmosphere. We'd love to come back to try their bingsoo next time & spend a little more time enjoying the space.
Lovely little cafe in a beautiful neighborhood.
I came here on my last day in Montreal for a dessert treat & ordered the mango bingsoo. It was my first time trying bingsoo & I will say that this cafe made it one of my favourite treats. It was delicious & not too sweet which I liked. It tasted very fresh. I ordered a size small, & it was still a very generous portion, even with the fresh fruit inside.
Ordering was pretty easy, there is an electronic kiosk that you use.
The atmosphere was warm & wholesome 💗
Customer service was superb. The owner hands the order to you, & he is so sweet. When I was there, he was with his dog & he let me say hi!
Getting there was not too difficult; If you take the metro, board metro orange & stop at station Villa-Maria.
Thank you for a memorable evening~
I've been going to this café for years, it's my favorite in Montreal. Both their drinks & desserts are amazing, not too sweet. I always order the mango bingsoo (even when it's -40°C outside) & mocha. They also make the best strawberry shortcake!
The owners are the absolute sweetest🩷
If you had a good experience, great! If not, the owner will harass & even doxx you for leaving anything but a positive review (maybe in a attempt to have the review removed?). Not the kind of business worth supporting.
As others have mentioned, the bingsoo tastes off/stinky but they'll insist that everything is fresh. The macarons are mid & hard as they're not thawed properly. The list goes on but just know that if any issues arise, it's never their fault. Honestly just horrible people running this place.
Tried their red bean & matcha bingsoo & was disappointed. Not enough toppings & both were tasteless.
What can I say? Everything there tastes awesome! Form cakes to macaroons to tiramisu to bingsoo! Also very nice & friendly staff! I wish I was closer to be able to visit more often ❤?
Long live Momo! This little hidden spot offers delicious bingsoo to cool you down on a hot summer day. Don't forget to try their coffee one of their delicious cakes!
I ordered the bingsoo strawberry medium , it's so good , the staff/owner were friendly , the interior was cozy & nice 👍 , would definitely come back again
J'ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience à cette place de style coréen. J'ai pris un dessert glacé le Bingsoo à saveur de tiramisu & c'était très bon. L'endroit est petit, mais sympathique & accueillant.
A super cute cafe with daily cake & macaron dessert options that are all vegetarian. The prices for coffee & cakes are reasonable & the portions are generous. The matcha cake paired very well with a Cortado & the strawberry cake had surprisingly fresh fruit. The coffee was strong but didn't taste bitter. There is banquette seating & tables that can accommodate 2-3 people. Everything was served with beautiful plating. The decor is super cute & cozy. The server was professional & friendly, despite seeming to be the only one working at the front at the time we were there. Will definitely return on a hot day to try out the injeolmi bingsoo!
This is possibly the best dessert I've ever had, & this shop is on our must-visit list for every time we go to Montreal now. We had the blueberry bingsoo & I think it might have fundamentally changed me (in a good way). It's by far the best bingsoo I've ever had. I cannot wait to go back. Also, the shop is adorable & the staff are so kind; they play really good music, too.
Lovely korean dessert cafe. Had red bean bingsoo, really really loved it!💗 Normally if u try red bean bingsoo in other cafe, there is only one layer of red bean on the top, but there were 2 layers of red bean!!! Amazing!
Such a cute Korean dessert place. Love the decor. They have coffee, cake & bingsoo (shaved ice). I came for the shaved ice. I had the red bean bingsoo. It was delicious. I would definitely come back to try the other flavours.
The bingsoo was very bland, with no creamy flavor, & was full of ice chunks. The toppings were also very sparse. Not recommended.
Voici un petit trésor caché dans le quartier NDG sur la rue Monkland pour les desserts coréen. Définitivement un des meilleurs bingsoo & Matcha cake que j'ai eu à déguster à Montréal !
best korean café in town! their bingsoo is very delicious & refreshing; a perfect dessert for summer. they also have very delicious drinks & fluffy, yummy cakes. the staff & owner are very kind & efficient😊👍
