Des Cantons - Microbrasserie is a warm, inviting pub by the water with a beautiful terrace and a cozy fireplace, where the beer selection and the food consistently receive praise for variety and flavor; the atmosphere is lively and friendly, making it a popular choice for friends and casual dinners, and the view of the lake enhances the experience, but some visits report slower or uneven service, occasional menu item shortages, and portions that can feel small for the price during peak times, overall painting a picture of a beloved local spot worth booking in advance for peak hours and terrace seating when weather permits.
We were a group of 7, ordered pizza for our grandson, had to return it as it was very overcooked & was cool to the touch. We also ordered 2 steak bavette & were both overcooked & so small (4-5 once) for over 32$ each, the fries were also overcooked overall paid over 300$ for our meal
La nourriture était vraiment bonne (comme toujours!) J'ai tenté le burger de poulet même si je suis plus du type burger au boeuf & j'ai été agréablement surpris. Nous étions près du foyer de bois, wow! Il y avait une belle ambiance & le service était au rendez-vous. Nous avons même croisé les propriétaires qui étaient sur place un samedi soir. On voit qu'ils ont à coeur leur resto, bravo!

Bonne ambiance & service rapide. Dommage que l'hamburger de poulet croustillant ne soit plus au menu. Le burger au poulet mariné que le remplace n'est pas satisfaisant.
Le serveur nous a bien décrit les plats afin de nous aider à faire un choix. La joue de boeuf & le poulet au beurre étaient succulents, sans oublier le brownie chaud pour dessert !
If I could give 10 stars I would. They let us eat on the terrasse outside with our dog & turned on the heater & brought extra blankets. Nicest restaurant staff I have ever met. The food was so delicious, had the halloumi burger, sooo good! & the beer selection is awesome. Thank you for making our day with your kindness & great food & beer. We will be back for sure!
Nice place for a microbrewery after a hike at Mont Orford. Our server was nice but a little on the brash side. Food was so so... Nachos came out not especially hot & the poutine gravy is weird. My chicken burger was pretty good but the pulled pork tacos my friend got were a little low on taste. Good selection of beer, but they don't sell any of their beers at the restaurant which is weird & a missed opportunity. In fact, when we asked our server said, go to Metro to buy them. LOL
The ambiance of the restaurant, especially with the cozy fireplace, was quite nice. However, the service left much to be desired. Our food was served with a 30-minute delay, & when we explained the reason for the lower tip, the staff responded poorly. It felt like they didn't make any effort to address our concerns or ensure we had a positive experience, even after understanding the issue. Unfortunately, it seemed like we were treated with less care because we aren't fluent in French, which was disappointing.

L'assiette de Sébaste était délicieuse mais mon conjoint avait des frites qui était trop cuit & sec ça semblait avoir été échauffé. Bien que je l'ai mentionné au serveur, il a nié ma rétraction.
Malgré la grande gentillesse de notre serveuse complètement débordée a cause d'un restaurant rempli, le service a été un peu long mais nous aimons votre restaurant & y allons souvent!
