It's an unassuming location but we were quite pleased with the food overall. The chicken was really the star of the show, we got combo 3 with creamy onion, sweet red & soy garlic wings. The fries & spring rolls were alright. The creamy onion was our favourite, but they were all delicious. We would definitely come back for more.

Dawa is a real gem for Korean fried chicken lovers. The chicken is always crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, & the sauces truly stand out. Service is quick & friendly, & the relaxed atmosphere makes it a place you'll want to come back to.

DawaChi is easily among the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Montreal. I've tried many Korean chicken spots, & this one stands out as the best overall. The flavor is great & when it's at its best, the chicken is absolutely delicious.
That said, there are times when the chicken can be a bit dry, so consistency is really the main thing I wish they would improve.
Overall though, it's still very good. I order from them often, either from this location or the Mont-Royal one, which is closer to me. The Mont-Royal location only does boneless chicken, while I personally prefer bone-in, so I still come back to DawaChi regularly. The fact that I order from them so often says a lot - it's definitely a solid choice for Korean fried chicken in Montreal.

We order the half & half chicken, & they are willing to customize our order. The signature fried chicken is really delicious! Their snowy onion chicken is one of the best fried chicken we had. Highly recommend!
My parents & I went to this local shop after a winter concert nearby. The atmosphere was warm, the food was fresh & this service was very good. The fried chicken made my frown turn upside down. Great way to support local businesses.

Ordered from there last night, not my first time for sure... but just had to write again how ridiculously delicious everything they make is... but mostly the fried chicken (I get boneless, half half) the salads & the dressings... OMG the dressings... & the pickled radish (always order an extra one). Outstanding.
I ordered the fried chicken & fries, & they were so delicious with really generous portions. Everything was super crispy & perfectly crunchy. The restaurant was extremely clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, & the food came out really fast. I highly recommend this place!

Last month, my friends & I went to eat their Korean chicken & let me tell you.... Their boneless chickens are best the food I ever eaten in my life. 10/10. The staff are duper friendly ❤❤
1/2 portion of bone-in #3 (fried chicken & Korean Tao chicken). Comes with side dish of marinated daikon & yellow dipping sauce. Unsure if it was enough for 2, so we ordered 1 dish of crispy meat dumplings. So very tasty & satisfying!
