My parents & I went to this local shop after a winter concert nearby. The atmosphere was warm, the food was fresh & this service was very good. The fried chicken made my frown turn upside down. Great way to support local businesses.
Really good portion. We ate 2 onigiri before going to Dawa. We took the creamy onion sunsal medium size & it was a lot for 2 people. At the end, we had to split the last piece in half to finish everything. The taste was also good, you can really taste the yogurt, the creaminess & the acidity. The onions help a lot to eat the fry chicken since it adds more freshness to it. The chicken was juicy & tender & not dry. The workers are nice. We paid around 22$.

Everything at the restaurant is extremely flavorful & very fresh! The restaurant is not very big but it is VERY good! The service was excellent & the staff were very friendly!

No frills fried chicken only. No alcohol as well. This store specialise in fried chicken & it's freshly fried after you ordered. For non-spicy or less spicy version, do let the service staff know your spice tolerance when ordering. For first timers to this restaurant, ask the service staff for recommendations. The interior is clean & washrooms are clean too. Do note that the menu is different from the mount royal outlet & this outlet serves fried chicken only. Oh & do factor in some preparation time as it's fried fresh after order.
Our experience at this restaurant for lunch was exceptional. The service was top-notch ( friendly staff) & the fried chicken was cooked to perfection, with a freshness that was evident in every bite. The chicken truffle mayo was a standout dish that we would highly recommend. We are confident in recommending this establishment to others & we are sure that they will have a similar positive experience. We even received a complimentary dumplings.
Crispy, juicy Korean fried chicken freshly cooked that's given with picked radish & a honey mustard dip. The food was simple & yet so we'll executed. You could see the care & attention to quality in each dish they served be in the in restaurant or for delivery. I had the original bone-in original fried chicken along with the Korean style & the creamy onion boneless fried chicken. They were all so delicious but my favorite has to be the creamy onion one. There's an amazing quality price ratio. It is worth the detour & try very good korean fried chicken! We will be back!
Dawa is my favourite fried chicken spot in NDG. They also have really nice staff & service. Their chicken is freshly made to order & uses fresh oil. The pieces are tender & juicy. My favourite items are the wings, you can't go wrong with them. The spicy pork & udon are also nice.
