I've known about Dawa since 2022. Absolutely amazing korean fried chicken! You won't find this quality anywhere else. I moved to Ontario & I would still think about travelling back just to eat there. :)

I only popped in here to kill time before a dinner reservation nearby. Meaning, I wasn't planning to eat, just drink a little, but we got a golden fried chicken combo to split & ate ALL OF IT. This is a very legit Korean fried chicken!
It reminded me of local hole-in-the-wall'chimek' spots in Korea -'chimek' stands for chicken & beer ('mekju'). Plenty of soju & magkeolli options (get the peach if unfamiliar). Very good & very nostalgic.
Would recommend coming here & getting comfortably wasted with friends! Or, just come get their amazing Korean fried chickenView more

We bought the mixed 4 types of fried chicken & personal favourite is the seaweed one. We ordered to take out & it took around 20 mins, it comes with 2 dipping sauces as well. There are so many dire ma on the menu that look good to try!View more

I ordered take away & the chicken smelled frickin good on my way back. The owner is also very nice that she gave me a cup of hot tea while waiting for the take away(fried chicken usually takes 15 minutes as they cook on the spot). The atmosphere is nice & of course, Kpop with MV playing on the TV. It's seems like a nice play to chill with friends for dinner or snack time with alcohol as they have a wide variety of soju as shown in the fridge pic.
