I ordered the Darlington breakfast & it was wholesome & delicious. The staff is so warm, friendly, funny… I left the restaurant with a big smile on my face. The service was phenomenal & the food was perfect!
Had a light dinner here on July 4, 2025. Ordered their'classic' burger, a small salad & pasta primavera. Food was generally good but very small portions all around. At a final price of $79 with a tip & apparently a load of taxes, minus room service. Simply outrageous.

Le Darlington à Montréal offre un service attentionné & une ambiance agréable. Cependant, certains plats pourraient bénéficier d'améliorations pour être à la hauteur de l'excellence du service.
What a great little restaurant!! We dined here during our stay over the New Year because the weather was not good enough to take a stroll to the many other restaurants close by, & I'm so glad that we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the following: 1. All-Dressed Nachos - was just about ok 2. Cheese Pizza - the second most liked dish for our group. It reminded me a lot of the General Assembly Pizza in downtown Toronto 3. Red Beet Tempura Fish & Chips - the batter on the fish was a bit on the oily side but the chips were crispy & delightful 4. Primavera Pasta - an absolute classic, we enjoyed this the most. Just goes to show that you don't need to add too many fancy ingredients or any other gimmicks - just let the quality of the vegetables & the olive oil speak The food was brought promptly (within 15-18 mins) & served with a smile. It was fresh & really tasty. The Pasta & Pizza were the absolute standouts of the meal. The attentiveness to follow-up with us to check on the food as well as to keep our water glasses filled was much appreciated. We definitely will give this wonderful restaurant another visit the next time that we are in MTL. ******************************************************************* On our last night at the hotel, we decided to eat here again. This time, we had: 1. Buffalo Cauliflower Wings 2. French Fries 3. Cheese Pizza 4. Primavera Pasta 5. Rose Pasta It was a nice relaxed meal in a comfortable setting. The pasta's stole the show again - but the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings were a sleeper hit.

On est allé souper & prendre un drink au Darlington. L'équipe du soir est vraiment super sympatique & on a eu un excellent service de la part de Mariko, Stéphanie & Shania. Les cocktails de Mariko valent le détour 😉
Excellent service, mais malheureusement, nous n'avons vraiment pas eu l'impression d'en avoir pour notre argent. L'assiette de fromages québécois à 22 $ en entrée a été décevante avec des portions beaucoup trop petites, agrémentée de raisins secs clairement pas frais (très durs) & deux petits morceaux de pain très ordinaires (1.25 $ en extra pour en avoir un de plus...). La soupe à l'oignon à la bière était excellente par contre, mais pour 100$ pour deux personnes (au total 3 entrées & deux coupes de vin), je me serais attendue à mieux en termes de portions & de qualité.

Que dire. On est allé déjeuner là-bas parce qu'on avait une chambre à l'hôtel au-dessus. On était pas impressionné par le choix du menu mais on s'est dit qu'avec peu de choix ça ne pouvait qu'être bon. Après 45-50 minutes d'attente (une chance que le restaurant était rempli juste au quart) de sa capacité, on reçoit nos assiette. On avait pris le déjeuner cabane à sucre. Les crêpes n'étaient froides. Le jambon était des tranches de forêt noir pour sandwiches, froides aussi. Les oeufs brouillés étaient trop cuits & complètement figés. Le bacon était correct. Le service était bon, rien à voir avec eux. Mais pour un déjeuner à 55$ pour deux, je m'attendais à vachement plus que ça.
La nourriture était bonne mais de trop petites portions. De loin le pire service que j'ai reçu. On a jamais été desservit & on a dû se rendre au comptoir pour payer. Pas pour rien que le resto était vide. Changez moi les employés ils nuisent à votre resto.
Good restaurant inside a good hotel. Food was delicious, good portion & value. Server "Alex" was great, friendly & constantly smiling. If you're staying at the Courtyard Marriot go have lunch in the Darlington.

The waiters here are really slow & I only found one to be polite. The food is yummy. If i were to get food here again i would make sure its room service.
The staff is very friendly. The meals were well prepared & tasty . They are willing to accommodate some changes on the plates. They also have a great selection of drinks.
