One of my top three best places to get matcha specialties! I recommend their sundaes or flavoured ice cream. Their frappes are delicious, quite pricey overall when u also get the ice cream on top. The matcha yuzu is also soo refreshing, i asked for extra yuzu. The twist ice cream was 8.05 & was just like i expected.
If its your first ime, the cafe is inside the tnt supermarket. You can enter by the exit to skip the grocery store.
They have a rewards system too & Service is always very friendly! Check their instagram @daigyomtl, for their seasonal menu flavours. The jasmine flavour in the picture is seasonal*

Unfortunately every single matcha I have ordered there just tasted like milk or whatever flavor was added (yuzu, strawberry). I even tried the ceremonial matcha latte & it still just tasted like milk. They really cheap out on matcha quantity, would not recommend…

This is my favorite place to get quality matcha drinks. I am a loyal customer & come back all the time, & have tried almost everything matcha on the menu. Delicious!
My favorite orders are the hojicha & yuzu matcha floats, & the strawberry oat matcha latte.

Yuzu season is here, & I got a sweet little invite to try Daigyo's limited-edition summer series 🍋✨

Daigyo's tucked inside the T&T Market in Montreal, which definitely has that strong Chinese meat & fish market smell when you walk in… not always the ideal spot to dine in, so I'd personally recommend grabbing your order to go.

Now for the good stuff:
I tried the full Série Citron Yuzu lineup, & my two favorites were the smoothie au citron yuzu & the crème glacée mélange matcha-yuzu.

🥤 The smoothie was super refreshing - icy, bright, & perfect for a hot summer day. A little on the sweeter side, but i think the tartness balances it out nicely .

🍦 The soft serve swirl? So good. I loved the combo of earthy matcha & citrusy yuzu - kind of a match made in dessert heaven.
