Cocodak was a good experience. I got the huge platter & shared it with my partner. It was great to taste all of the flavors of the side dishes & the beef.
The atmosphere was very similar to other Korean places I've been to; clean, soft colors, with the smell of Korean food lingering.
Overall, it was a good experience. It's not too special, but ita good place to get Korean food.View more
The best Korean restaurant I've ever been to! The menu is full of variety, especially their crispy fried chicken with a range of rich, flavorful sauces. My favorite is the bibimbap with fried chicken drumsticks just thinking about it makes me want to go back!
The restaurant is spacious, making it perfect for meals with family or friends. The dishes are beautifully presented, with vibrant colors that make them even more appetizing. It's a place where you can explore a wide selection of Korean flavors. Truly unforgettable! ❤?View more
food comes in decently large portions & tastes very good. there's a good range of different options on the menu & there's something for everyone. my favorite dishes happen to be the tteokbokki & black sesame noodles.
the price is quite expensive for some of the food however, a beef tteokbokki is around $20 for a modest portion.View more
My friend & I ordered rice cake skewers, deep fried chicken dumplings, cheesy corn, the army stew & the bulgogi with rice. Every item was better than the other, & we were already talking about coming back to try other items on the menu. This place is great for a sharing style dining where you go in with a small group & order a few different dishes ro share. The service was quick & friendly. Definitely a place I'd recommend to others ♡♡View more
I can't believe I found a good soondaeguk (blood sausage soup) in Montreal. It still lacks in a few components but it is by far the best one i have had in Montreal. & it is very filling. They even provide refillable side-dishes (kimchi & pasta salad). I will definitely come back with my fellow soup lover to delight in more delicious soondaeguk.View more
Cocodak's fried chicken is one of my favorite dishes to order from their menu. The chicken is tender & juicy, coated with a flavorful batter that has just the right amount of spice & crunch. The fried tofu is another delicious option, especially for vegetarians. It is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior & a soft & fresh interior. The tofu pairs well with the sweet & tangy sauce that comes with it. I highly recommend trying both the fried chicken & the tofu at Cocodak, as they are satisfying & tasty.View more
My favourite Korean place in Montreal so far! They have a great selection of authentic Korean dishes that I love! The japchae & bibimbap are really good. Going to come back to have the tteokbokkiView more
Don't let the rating fool you or convince you from not ordering. Ordered Uber eats.. got soy garlic fried chicken & I'd order there again & again just for it. I started eating the cartilage (which I never do lol). Comes with a simple slaw just YUM. I'm not sure about their other dishes & the reviews seem iffy on some of their plates but trust me it's worth it just getting that chicken.. Their sweet & sour fried dumplings are also very tasty & still had a crunch to them. If I'd recommend one thing off their menu though it would have to be the fried chicken (soy garlic flavour a must).View more
All the usual korean dishes we ordered were very tasty! The spicy fried chicken had an extra kick, gamjatang more meat & rich flavored kimchi jigae soup! Service was quick too!View more
