Crew Collective & Café is one of those Montreal spots where the setting is half the experience. Housed in a beautifully restored former Royal Bank headquarters in Old Montreal, the space is grand, dramatic, & full of gorgeous architectural details, with soaring ceilings, marble, & an impressive historic banking-hall feel. The coffee is solid, & they also offer pastries, sandwiches, salads, & brunch, making it an easy place to stop for anything from a quick coffee to a casual meal.

The main tip is to come for the atmosphere & architecture as much as the food. It can get busy, especially during peak hours, so going earlier or outside the busiest times makes for a more relaxed visit. It's also a good spot to meet someone or get some work done, since it doubles as a coworking space. If you're exploring Old Montreal, it's definitely worth stepping inside-even if you're only there for a coffee, the building itself is the real highlight.

Beautiful room, forgettable food.
The old bank building is stunning, worth a visit for a coffee & the setting. But after a ~50 minute wait, the salmon bowl I came for wasn't available, & the $26-29 replacement was a sesame roll with a side of bagged-tasting potato chips. The linen napkins were the most impressive thing on the table. Come for the architecture, eat somewhere else.

Crew Collective & Café has breathtaking architecture & a wonderfully spacious setup with plenty of tables & seating areas. However, be prepared for a long queue-it was at least a 30-minute wait when I visited. I didn't have time to wait around so I couldn't try the drinks, but the environment itself looks amazing if you have the time to spare!

This is such a beautiful & aesthetic café! The architecture & atmosphere are absolutely stunning - definitely one of the prettiest cafés in Montréal. There was a server who also made my birthday feel so special! She was incredibly kind & went out of her way to make sure my group was able to get a table. Her thoughtfulness truly made the experience even more memorable.

This place is phenomenal. Housed inside a former bank built at the turn of the century. The architecture is stunning to look at while having a delicious cup of coffee or breakfast. Try the coffee with pistachio cream.

One of the coolest cafés I've ever been to. Set inside a beautifully restored former bank, the architecture alone makes it worth visiting. The high ceilings & grand interior create such a unique atmosphere.

The food was just as impressive. I had the turkey sandwich which was fresh & delicious, paired with an excellent iced coffee. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch, catching up with friends or getting some work done. A must visit when you're in Montreal.

This cafe used to be the headquarters of RBC back in the 1920s, & it is absolutely beautiful. The architecture & historic charm make it worth a visit just to take in the atmosphere.

Chihiro: A refreshing drink made with tea, yuzu & rose water. Fun fact: the name is inspired by the main character in Spirited Away!

Amazing, stunning place. Couldn't stop admiring the architecture & designs. Expect a decent sized line, but it moves quite fast. Prices are expensive for what it is, food was alright, but def check it out once & just admire the beautiful architecture.
