Review Summary

Crêpes Mtl is widely praised for delicious, generously filled crepes with favorites like pistachio cream, Nutella, strawberry with white chocolate, lotus and Biscoff, plus new bowls and creamy milkshakes that keep customers coming back. Customers describe the service as friendly, attentive and quick, contributing to a welcoming and clean atmosphere. Many reviewers call it the best creperie in Montreal and a go to spot for late night sugar cravings. Some notes of caution include long waits during peak hours, delivery delays or fees from third party platforms, and rising prices with smaller portions. Several reviews mention occasional inconsistencies with hours or availability, and a few dine in experiences note limited utensils or a takeout focus. Overall Crêpes Mtl appears to offer a standout sweet experience with strong flavors and a warm team, with room for improvements in efficiency and pricing transparency.

The crepes were absolutely delicious, & the milkshake was spectacular, flavorful, & very enjoyable. The only downside was the delivery time: it took nearly two hours to arrive, even though I live just 10 minutes away. Fortunately, there was a 2-for-1 promotion on Uber Eats, which made the experience worthwhile. Despite the delay, I would order again. Highly recommended.

Oof. I ordered several times when they first opened & i just did again after a long time. Since i ordered the same thing every time (2 for 1 Nutella crepes on uber eats), I can state accurately compare.

1- Taste was great then & still is.
BUT.
2- I believe they opened in 2022 & cost $12.50 for a while. The portion was good. Now the cost is $15 plus added fees (the most offensive invention by uber eats*).. For delivery.

For some reason though, if you're close enough to pick it up, which i am, when you switch to pick up on the app... shocker! The same crepes are suddenly not $15, they're now $18. I'd love to have anyone explain how that possibly can be justified (I'm not even sure it's legal tbh).

So i noticed this a couple of months ago & had made the decision not to order because frankly I find that offensive. But last week i couldn't resist & i ordered it as part of an add-on.

Like i said, taste is still great but unfortunately the size has shrunk noticeably. & taking into consideration the price has gone up significantly, plus the'fees', the weird price extra $3 for pick up & the shrinkflation, I'm unfortunately going to have to make this my last order.

To be fair though, I'm down to very few restaurants I'll order from because it's just become a huge cash grab & uber is probably the only party benefiting at this point. Uber eats is literally the worst thing ever. Bring back in-house employee delivery drivers whose salary are paid by the restaurant (not $4-5'delivery fees' - looking at you Domino's Pizza). Uber killed the whole concept for everyone.

I should add..
While I can't speak for now because I didn't pick it up, in the past the employees have always been great: friendly, helpful & competent.

*added fees: wdym fees to help cover the costs ? Sir, that's what the actual price is for. It's like looking at the listed price for shoes & then being told there's an extra $15 fee to cover the cost of the box & the paper to print your bill on. Like, what?

But anyway, that's not specific to this place, that's a system wide scam uber eats came up with so they could keep robbing restaurants & customers while making it look like restaurants are overcharging with random fees? They absolutely are but this is 100% because uber eats is robbing them.

The moral of the story really is that uber eats sucks & makes everything more expensive. Restaurants & customers pay for uber greed.

Thanks for reading my dissertation. 🤷

Mes crêpes étaient vides (pas de chocolat à l'intérieur, juste roulé), il y avait juste un coulis de chocolat au dessus…
(C'était une commande Uber Eats)

I love their nutella & lotus crepes! Just needs a little more nutella filling inside also i cant seem to add toppings on the ubereats app which is annoying. Other than that it’s my go-to for crepe cravings!
