Review Summary

Côte St Luc Bar-B-Q comes across as a reliable, no-frills spot that delivers charcoal grilled rotisserie chicken with a taste of the past, tender and juicy with crisp skin. The dining area is clean and unpretentious, and service is fast, friendly, and attentive, with staff often described as going above and beyond for customers and events. Reviews consistently praise generous portions and solid value, with standout sides like fries and coleslaw and a memorable poutine that many find among the best. Some items draw more mixed reactions, including a bland sauce or soup in a few cases, and a few mentions of dry poutine or an odd hot honey sauce. Accessibility can be limited and a light renovation is suggested by some, yet the overall vibe remains casual and comforting. Overall, Côte St Luc Bar-B-Q is seen as a dependable choice for hearty, flavorful chicken at a reasonable price, a longstanding staple for locals and celebrations alike.

Excellent poulet cuit au charbon. Frites fraîches & maison. Salade de choux & sauces BBQ délicieuses. Service impeccable. La qualité est très supérieure aux chaînes de rôtisseries comme St-Hubert, Scooters & Benny.

Been going here for decades. Food is delicious but a bit less consistent than the West Island location but better nonetheless. Service is friendly & efficient. Chicken Caesar salad id awesome. Prices aren't cheap but good value compared to the competition. Desserts are too expensive. A family run business that is highly recommended.

Ordered some chicken wings , a salade there , as seen on pictures . I dont like giving people bad notes . Guess I shouldve go for the chicken on charcoal or something. Lessons are hard learned ! Good presentation tho everything was clean when received . The fries needs work guys

From out of town. This place was recommended & I can see why. The service was top notch, the food was melting in my mouth it was so good. Best chicken salad I've ever had. Hot fresh chicken & not cold & made in the morning. Huge portions! Our server was fantastic. While it's a small place it's definitely worth it. This is now on my Montreal rotation.

I used to be a big fan of this place in the days where Frank owned the place. The care & attention to taste, seasoning, freshness, portions were amazing. Since passing on to his two employees the place has improved somewhat by improving the menue (albeit with a lot of frozen ready made products) & changing the interior - though motivated by a fire but kudos on the refresh as it was done properly. Problem these days is quality control on the fresh chicken. Poorly tasting, not fresh & hot, seasoning lacking, bbq sauce inconsistent, Cole slaw inconsistent, salad often with brown spots. Pricing has gotten so high that there are too many substitutes for this restaurant & I elect to go elsewhere. At the end of the day we have moved back to Chalet BBQ on Sherbrooke street west. Chicken is flavourful & fries are perfect & slaw excellent.

Fries & chicken was a bit too oily for me but still tasted fine. I'm just confused as to why you don't supply the meals with coleslaw I have never ever seen a chicken place that don't have it included in the meal. I'm sure people would prefer you take out the bun instead of the salad.i know times are hard but to make a huge batch of coleslaw is not that expensive
