Overall, Côte St Luc Bar-B-Q is praised for authentic smoky flavor and real charcoal grilling, with chicken that is juicy and well seasoned and the ribs tender. Portions are generous and the dishes arrive hot and fresh, with a homemade tasting coleslaw and crispy fries many consider standout. The service is described as friendly, fast, and attentive, even during busy periods, and the venue is clean and well organized, enhancing the takeout or dining experience. Some feedback points to menu changes and price concerns, with a few orders missing items like coleslaw and others feeling portions or prices have become less favorable. Overall, it remains a top West Island BBQ choice with nostalgia and reliable quality that keeps customers coming back for chicken, sauces, and classic sides.
Over priced, the plates are smaller to decive the customer the portions are smaller too. The only positive I can say was the service was great. Won't be back 😌
Came here to treat my fiancé for his birthday. This is one of his favourite restaurants.
I ordered half a rack of ribs with a baked potato. Generous portion of ribs for a half rack. The baked potato came with butter, sour cream & gravy. The order also came with coleslaw.
Linda was our waitress. She gave fast service & was really nice.

There's no better chicken breast/fries/sauce plate! When picking up fries to go with any meal at home… it's only & always from Cote St-Luc BBQ!
I'm thankful to have won $50 in gift certificates from their recent Instagram contest. It will get spent quickly 😋 👍🙏
Was always my favourite, but you changed the menu. Chicken wing were great now so-so. But the worst, what did you do to your coleslaw! It went from worlds best to terrible, i am praying it was an off batch because if i have it like that again, it will not be worth going again.

Best fries chicken & sauce, so of course best chicken poutine. Chocolate cake isn't as good as it used to be. Decor was updated recently, nothing major just updated colors.
I love core st Luc bbq & whenever It's too hot to cook I'll go for a meal there, everything is fantastic, however…
The pricing has become a little ridiculous.. for a half chicken & a salad.. it's 33$ not including tip. I typically tip 20%.. does a half chicken & a salad deserve to cost 40$… in my opinion, it's overpriced.
I think the owner needs to re-evaluate his pricing, especially when the economy is suffering. I could get a full rotisserie chicken for 7$ at Costco & a larger salad for 5$… these guys must be making an absolute killing.
Unfortunately, as much as I love cote st luc bbq. That will be my last time enjoying their dinners.
Côte St-Luc BBQ blew me away. The chicken has that amazing smoky flavour that only real charcoal can give. You can taste the fire in every bite, it's juicy, perfectly cooked, & full of that old-school BBQ taste you don't find in many places anymore.
The fries were hot & crispy, just right, & the coleslaw was fresh & crunchy with the perfect amount of tang.
Not many places still take the time to grill over real charcoal, & it really shows in the quality. If you love BBQ, you have to try this place. I'll definitely be coming back

Great food & friendly staff. The family pack is a great option for takeout. My favorite is chicken wings & crispy club sandwhich. If you like dessert, nutella cheesecake is a must.
Côte St-Luc BBQ has been a go-to spot for me for years. There's something about the place that brings back a real sense of nostalgia. The smell of charcoal-cooked chicken, the classic coleslaw, & those familiar fries with the perfect crisp always take me back. It reminds me of a time when takeout felt like a treat, not just a convenience.
I've had the chicken, the sauce, & the fries more times than I can count & they've never disappointed. It's comfort food at its best. I also love the poutine. Always fresh, flavourful, & consistent. The service is friendly & welcoming, & takeout is fast & easy. The fact that they deliver across the West Island makes it even more convenient.
If you're from the area or even just passing through, this is the kind of place that feels like home.
I've been coming to Côte St-Luc BBQ for years & it's one of the few places that still does things the old-fashioned way. & I mean that in the best sense. The chicken is charcoal-cooked just like it always was & you can really taste the care that goes into the food. It's consistent, it's comforting, & it never feels rushed or overdone.
The coleslaw has that nice homemade touch & the portions are more than fair. It's the kind of place where the staff greet you with a smile & they remember you if you've been in a few times. Whether I'm eating there or bringing it home, it always hits the spot.
Places like this are getting harder to find. I'm glad they're still doing what they do & doing it well.
One of the best chicken BBQ restaurant in montreal island friendly staff & also very clean you have to try club sandwich it's incomparable with other restaurant.
